Chapter 15. Pregnancies

-I do not know Hyorin so well ...- I said conflicted- I do not know what to give her.

-Do you want to change? - Asked my wife pushing the shopping cart.

-No, no, it's okay- I said laughing- I know a lot less about your father's tastes.

She laughed and continued walking. It took us a long time to get out of bed in the morning, we could barely keep our eyes open. We went down at lunch time because we had passed breakfast. We did the ruffle that we were in doing, and I got Hyorin. I do not even remember her last name and now I must give her a gift.

-Oh ... I know- I said out of nowhere- Come on.

I walked in front of Jennie and she followed me in silence. We arrived at the clothing section. She stayed looking at some very nice shirts, surely for her father and I followed. Baby section. My heart melted completely.

I took one of the garments. It was white and said "I have the cutest mum!" I smiled sideways. Never in my life would I have imagined myself with so many desires to have children. But what's the difference? I can not have them.

-What are you doing? - Asked behind me confused.

- Is not it cute? - I said turning to see her.

-Love ...- She said still not understanding.

-It's for Hyorin ...- I said making a silence- I'm sure she's ... pregnant.

- Is she? - Said raising her eyebrows- I have not noticed.

-Yes, I've been watching her- I affirmed- I know she is.

I turned around again because I felt my eyes burn, and I did not want to cry.

-That was very nice- Commented finally.

I nodded without looking at her. I took another one that was even prettier. I put it in the car and then I looked for something for her. A very pretty blouse, and very much of her style. We kept walking since we both wanted to buy gifts for everyone anyway. We finished almost at 3 in the afternoon and returned to the hotel.

I bought her a beautiful stuffed animal, it was a bat. It had brooches on its wings, so it could wrap its little body with them, or open them. And when it did, in its tummy said "I love you," so it seemed more than perfect.

We leave the bags next to the dressing table and lie down to sleep for a moment. It was too necessary. I felt her arms hugging my waist from behind, and her breath crashing against my neck. She fell asleep fast enough, and I thought I could too, but something disturbed my mind.

I could not go around in bed, because I was going to wake her up and I do not intend to. I closed my eyes and tried to fall asleep, but nothing happened. I felt the minutes passing, and I still could not rest.

I got out of bed carefully, and settled her arms. I sat on the floor and started wrapping the presents. The noise did not seem to bother her, she did not even move. I just did it and looked around. I did not know what else to do to distract myself. However extreme my boredom, it is not an option to order things.

I took one of my books and went to the balcony. The breeze made me feel better. I do not know how long I read, until I heard her voice.

-Lalisa? - Asked half lost.

I closed my book and got up immediately as if it were an emergency.

-You woke up- I said smiling.

She smiled tenderly. Her eyes were still sleepy. She sat next to me and rested her head on my lap.

-What were you doing? - She asked yawning.
