Epilogue

~Ariana's POV~

"You ready to go back?" Zayn took my hand as we made our way to the car.

"Yeah, I'm excited to see everyone again."

I watched as snowflakes slowly fell onto the car window. It was about the time that the Christmas lights all went on; showing the college's Christmas spirit. We drove away from the dorms, excited to see our friends and family again.

I haven't been home in six months. After Harry got better, everyone applied to college and moved away from each other; Zayn and I choosing the same college. Kendall and I always face time each other and I've seen Niall in a few of them, but I haven't seen Harry, Liam or Louis in a while. 

I turned on the radio and soft Christmas music filled the car. Christmas was always my favorite holiday; I loved the idea of everyone being together and celebrating together- getting gifts isn't bad either. 

Once we arrived at Kendall and Niall's apartment, Zayn parked the car, then we made our way, hand in hand, towards the door. Before we even rang the doorbell, Kendall swung the door open and leaped into my arms.

"I missed you so much!" I laughed and hugged her tightly.

"I missed you too, Kendall. It's not right not to see your best friend in over 6 months." She pulled away and smiled.

"Well, we're all here now. Come inside, you guys are the last two!" She pushed me inside and hugged her brother as they both walked in.

"Ariana! Zayn!" Everyone got up from the living room and proceeded to give us both hugs. Harry was the last.

"Hey, Ariana! I've missed you so much." He hugged me tightly and I smiled.

"I've missed you too, Harry." I looked at the shy girl standing beside him. "And this must be Katherine?" He nodded and smiled.

"Hey, nice to finally meet you. Harry's told me a lot about you."

"He's told me a lot about you too." I smiled and examined her. She was beyond beautiful. She had light brown hair that made its way to the middle of her back. Her eyes were the exact shade as Zayn's, hazel and she had a very sweet smile. I'm happy for Harry.

"So, how's the college life, Ariana?" 

"it's pretty good, I've met some pretty amazing people, I got a good roommate and my classes aren't too hard."

"Oh, what are you studying?" Katherine looked up at me and gave me a small smile.

"I want to be a fashion designer." I smiled proudly.

"No way! That's so cool!" Katherine looked at me in awe.

"Yeah, I actually am getting the privilege to put on a fashion show at our school. Hey, you should be one of my models, you're really beautiful!" She blushed and looked at Harry who was smiling at her.

"No, I couldn't! I'm not that pretty." She shook her head.

"Katherine, if you're not pretty, than I must look like a trash can." Harry chuckled as I punched his arm. "Come on, pleaseeeeeee." I gave her a puppy look which made her laugh.

"Alright, I'll do it. By the way, call me Kat." She smiled at me.

"Alright, Kat. Let's go to the table, it looks like Kendall is done with the food." She nodded and we made our way to the table. I sat next to Zayn, who was at the head on the table and beside Liam.Niall poured some wine in each of our glasses as Kendall placed a giant turkey in the middle of the table.

"Merry Christmas everyone! Dig in!" Niall began to slice the turkey as everyone began taking the food. I looked at everyone; they were all so happy. I felt Zayn squeeze my hand under the table and I turned to smile at him. He gave me a huge smile, then a kiss on the cheek. This moment was perfect.
