As if the situation wasn't bad enough, my headache still wasn't letting up. In fact, it was getting worse by the minute. Bulkhead had arrived a few minutes ago, but no one paid much attention to him. Finn and Ms. Darby were fighting to keep Raf alive, and I couldn't do a damn thing because my focus was thrown off every time my head pounded.
"Jack, Finn, help me get Raf to the car," Ms. Darby said, helping me refocus. "He's going to the emergency room."
"Nurse Darby," Ratchet stepped forward. "Your doctors won't be able to comprehend what's afflicting him, not without a decade of study."
Ms. Darby whirled on him. "I don't have time to argue."
Ratchet promptly ignored her. "The effects of an energon blast on an Autobot can be devastating enough, but this is a human. I'm not getting any readings..." He straightened. "How could I not have seen this? Rafael's been infected with dark energon."
We all went to attention at that. If energon was bad, dark energon was a hundred times worse.
The medic moved forward, scanning over Raf again. "If dark energon is devouring Raf from the inside out, we must expel it and fast. There's only one possible way I know." he turned to the Autobots. "I need energon."
"Wait," Finn spoke up. "You said energon was devastating to humans."
"Under normal circumstances," He replied, grabbing a vial from his lab. "But I am relying upon the dark matter currently invading Rafael's body to meet it head on."
My headache chose that moment to flare up again, causing me to stumble back at the sudden wave of pain. I squeezed my eyes shut in attempt to block it out, but that made me see flashes of images.
A volcano, spewing lava-
Purple raining from the skies-
"A?" I opened my eyes to see Miko staring at me in concern. Luckily the others were still focused on Raf.
"Don't worry," I waved her concern away. "It's just a headache."
The sound of the heart monitor beeping at an alarming rate made us both turn our attention back to the scene. Ratchet was extracting energon from Bumblebee before plugging the vial into the medical tube.
"I need him over here, now!" Ratchet said and Finn and Jack wheeled the cot into the med tube, which closed once they were out. Miko and I moved to join them, all of our faces pressed against the glass as the tube filled with a gaseous form of energon. The gas cleared away and the glass slide open again, causing us all to rush in. Ms. Darby took a look at the younger boy's vitals again, and Raf gave a little groan before slowly opening his eyes.
"Pulse rate is stabilizing." Ms. Darby confirmed as the younger boy's eyes opened.
"Bee?" Raf said, his gaze solely on the scout who was behind us, who buzzed happily. I felt the pressure on my chest leave. Raf was going to be okay. As Ms. Darby checked him over again and everyone let the pressure that hung over us lift, my head's constant pounding intensified, making me hiss in pain. I stumbled back, knocking into Jack, who caught my shoulders.
"What's wrong?" I heard Finn ask, but I couldn't brush him off because the world was spinning around me. Flashes of images came, bright and painful.

Purple raining from the skies-
