His house is beautiful. It is so different to what I thought it would look like.

I dunno why but I get a sort of dark and gloomy vibe from him. It intrigued me.

I was expecting like dark and gloomy and well gothic. I'm not sure why. He's not gothic.

Anyway, his house is made up of beautiful beaut all tones that all go really well together.

He wanted to make sure that I knew exactly where I was going so he gave me a quick tour.

His house was huge but absolutely beautiful.

After showing me the foyer, lounge, kitchen, panic room (don't even ask because I don't know why he has that), my bedroom, his bedroom and a couple of the guest bedrooms, we ended up back in the kitchen.

There was also some other basics such as a dining room, study and a library which I knew I was going to be spending a lot of time in.

I wondered why my room was the biggest guest room and why it was the only one that wasn't already furnished as all the others were furnished the exact same.

"Did you like my house" he said anxiously although I don't know why because why wouldn't I?

All the rooms were so beautifully made up and designed, just like the house itself. It was manly but still had a beautiful feminine touch to it which is what I personally think every home needs. His room was pretty much what I pictured his house being, dark and gloomy and my room was so beautiful I had actually fallen in love with it.

"Of course I do it's beautiful" I replied happily.

He breathed out what seemed like a sigh of relief, "I'm glad, tomorrow I'll take you out after work and show your around the area a bit more"

"Thank you" I replied, he's honestly so amazing.

I really hope me clothes and possessions will be here soon as I really need them.

Once again as if he read my mind "your clothes should be delivered sometime today, I sent a friend over to help pack up your stuff and to bring it all here"

I cringed at the thought that this friend might touch my underwear and hoped it is a girl.

He looked at me and smiled, genuinely can this dude read my mind or what???? I'm so confused.

"We need to do my furniture!" I had completely forgotten.

"Oh yeah! Let go do it then" he groaned and headed towards the stairs.

This is gonna be a blast I thought to myself.

A little while later we had barely got the bed assembled when I remembered that we never actually picked up a mattress.

"I actually can't believe we forgot a mattress, out of all things to forget" Xavier groaned into his hands and sighed.

"I can always sleep on the sofa until we get a mattress or even in one of the other guest rooms" I offered up a solution.

"No I want you to sleep somewhere comfortable and that isn't all dusty because no one uses it. Just go get a shower and get ready for bed and I'll sort something out" he sighed.

Xavier POV

I watched as she left the room and slowly a grin formed on my face, my mattress plan had worked.

Okay so here's the thing, I knew she needed a mattress, I purposely forgot one and here's why: I can't tell her about who I am or who she is to me yet because she'll get scared she needs to get to know me for who I am without knowing me as a monster.

And because I want to be close with her, she'll be staying in my room and I'll be sleeping on the floor in there only because I can't expect her to sleep in the same bed as me, as much as I'd want her to.

Suddenly her angel voice shouted out "Uhm Xavier!"

I read her mind, she didn't have any clothes. Another point for Xavier.

"I'll get you some clothes to change into!" I shouted back although I already knew that she didn't have any clothes to get changed into, this wasn't my plan, my plan was to get her into my clothes so that when she took them off I could never wash them again.

Ew I am so gross and mischievous, oh well she'll love it.

I walked to my bedroom and quickly grabbed her the biggest shirt I had and a pair of boxer shorts, pushing it with no joggers but I hope she won't mind.

I knocked on the door, "I only have a top and some boxers is that okay? I don't really own any comfy bottoms just jeans and slacks" I grinned, a little white lie and she'll never know, I hope.

"That's fine thank you! Can you leave them just outside the door please and leave so that I can get dressed" she asked sweetly.

"Of course I can baby" I cooed back. She's so cute bless her.

"Mate naked" my wolf, Asher, fascinated.

"Mate blood" my vampire ,Cassius, chipped in.

Great these two fools.

"Fuck off" I said back to them and blocked them out. I don't need them ruining the night.

"Where do you want me to sleep tonight then?" I little voice quipped.

I look down to see my mate in just my top and boxers with her hair in the towel, "My room"

She led the way and I trailed back to watch her walk, adjusting myself in my trousers.

"Are you sure?" She questioned

"Yeah of course I'll sleep on the floor and you can sleep on the bed" I replied.

She stopped dead in her tracks and turned to look at me "no"

"What?" I replied innocently, she doesn't want me to sleep in the floor in my own house.

"I'll sleep on the floor" she said

I carried on walking to her, when I got to her I put my hands on her hips and sighed in her face, knowing my cool breathe would make her do whatever I wanted, "No, I'll sleep on the floor, you'll be on the bed"

Her eyes glazed over slightly and she relaxed in my arms, "okay" she sighed and leaned against my chest.

"Good" I sighed in her face again trying to keep up the sort of compulsion.

I walked her backwards towards my room and sat her in the bed, her eyes flashed straight to mine and she broken out of it.

Oh, that's never happened before.

"We will both sleep on the bed" she looked at me as if she'd solved all the problems in the world.

"Even better" I replied giving her a grin.
