Ione POV

For the rest of the day the gang hung around at mine and Xaviers place until about 5 when Xavier kicked them out so that we could get ready to go out.

I went upstairs and picked out a nude crop top, a long black pencil skirt and matching nude heels with a nude bag.

After putting on some simple makeup and placing my phone and lipgloss in my bag, I headed down to the foyer.

"Please just tell me where we are going" I whined to X as I put my jacket on.

"Nope" he popped the p without looking up from his phone.

"Your a bloody idiot" I thought to him in my mind, knowing he would hear it.

When he looked at me I was giving him a look that could kill, and all he did was flash his million dollar smile and reach for my hand.

"Nope" I mocked him, popping the p and making my own way out of the door and down the driveway to his car, where he was already waiting to open my door.

"Stupid vampire hybrid wolf thing" I scoffed in my head and glared at him again.

"You know you love it baby" He replied in my head and I jumped, not knowing that he could do that.

"Hey! Get out of my head!" I sneered at him in shock.

I climbed into his car and quickly got myself situated.

"I'm really sorry" I admitted as he got in and buckled his belt.

"What for?" He turned towards me and titled his head in curiosity.

"For that little outburst just now" I chuckled nervously and moved my hand to hold his.

"It's okay baby, I probably should've told you that I could talk to you in your head, once you've been changed you'll be able to do the same to me, and read my mind" he admitted.

I smiled at him, but something caught my attention, "once you've been changed". I knew, subconsciously, that one day, perhaps soon, I would need to change in order to be with him forever, otherwise he would surely outlive me.

But I had never really thought about it, I had never really stopped to think about any of this, I just went with the flow.

We had barely got to the end of the street but I knew I couldn't do this tonight, I needed to think about everything.

"Stop" I whispered.

Before I had even finished the word we had come to a stop infront of someone's drive and I was out of the car in a flash, I hadn't even buckled my belt.

Xavier was infront of me before I even had time to think about what I was going to do next.

"What's wrong baby?" He was panicked, his hands and eyes roamed my body, making sure I wasn't injured in any way.

"N-nothing" I stuttered out, "just take me home, please" I begged my hands reached out for his biceps as tears welled up in my eyes.

He didn't bother putting me back in the car and wasting time driving, he used his speed to take us straight back to his home and to his room.

"Look just, just stay here I'll be right back" he was exasperatedly running his hands through his hair as he left the room.

"I'm going to get the car" I jumped as he spoke into my mind; I'm never going to get used to this I realised.

I knew what I needed to do, I wouldn't have long so I dialled the number and pleaded that she would answer.

"Hello?" A soft voice questioned
