Planning Our Attack

Jacob's POV: Blanche stood next to me looking over the map that was laid on a random desk. "There's a loop here, in Blackpool." I said pointing to a circled spot on the map. Blanche peered over my shoulder, letting her head rest on my shoulder, "That's Miss Avocet's loop, the one that got attacked." Blanche said quietly, almost to herself. "With Miss Avocet gone, wouldn't the loop close?" I asked looking at her, her brows furrowed, deep in thought. "I'm mean it should close. She hasn't been there to reset the time so it should go to modern day. I-I don't know, Miss Peregrine never talked about this stuff." Blanche said frustrated, a light bulb seemed to go off above her head, "Maybe we don't need a new loop. Jacob, if we kill Barron everything should go back to normal, he'll be gone but time... it'll carry on. That means he won't go to Florida, Abe will still be alive, and you, Jacob, you can go back home." Blanche said softly, almost sadly, turning to me. 'Maybe I don't want to leave' I thought. I walked forward before pulling her in my arms, "We'll get through this." I said quietly as she nodded against my chest, "Yeah..." She whispered. "We still have a long time before getting to Blackpool." Blanche said before pulling away from the hug. "I should probably check on the others." Blanche said as she walked toward the door, "Blanche?" I called out as she turned, "Yeah, Jacob?" She replied, "I'm glad I got to meet you." I said sincerely, she smiled back "I'm glad I met you too, Jacob." She said before she left the room. I walked back to the map, Blackpool, 'Get the Ymbryns back to their loops and their kin, then your life will be back to normal. You can pretend this never happened.' a voice said in my head, 'But do you really want to forget everything? You met Blanche, the girl from your memories.' Another voice countered, both were right  but one made a stronger fight than the other.
