shelby's pov; the sun shines bright into my eyes, acting as an alarm. i get up ,stretch , and go to get dressed. i grab a blue tank top, some ripped black skinny jeans, a leather jacket, and some white converse.
i go on with my usual day; university/college, out for lunch with pony, and then back home to study. except today was a little different. i was almost home when i had the feeling that someone was following me, i shook it off... thinking it was nothing.
once i got home, the feeling was still there, i turned around to be met with the same brown eyes i fell in love with 5 years ago. "oh my god dally!" i exclaim, i run and jump into his arms, his muscular arms snake around my torso, while my legs wrap around his waist.

"i missed you so much" i mumble into his shoulder. "i missed you too baby" he said back. dally was in the army for 1 year and a half, it was hell without him.
after being in each other's embrace for around 30 minutes we ended up going into our shared apartment, where he went into the shower, and got changed. i studied for a bit while he was in the shower.
"hi baby." i say, when he comes out of our room. "hi shelby." he smiles. "how bout we go see the boys?" i suggest "no, i wanna spend today with you." i smile, and nod. i put my schoolwork away and get changed into a pair of workout shorts and one of dally's shirts.
when i get out we order takeout, and pick a movie. "this is bringin' back old memories" i say. "yeah." he smiles that cute smile of his

-time skip ,to, two weeks-
i wake up to a sick feeling in my stomach. feeling last nights dinner coming up, i immediately run to the washroom, and empty the contents of my stomach. dallas must have heard me because he came and held my hair back.
"what's wrong, baby?" dally's asks "i-i-i don't know" i stammer. "maybe we should go see your doctor?" he suggests, and i nod in response. we get up and get changed. i change into a pair of grey sweatpants, a baby blue tank top, a leather jacket, and a pair of white converse. we got into my car and drove off to my doctor.
once we got to the doctor, we went in and sat in the waiting room. "shelby!" my doctor shouts. i stand up and dally grabs my hand. "it's okay. it'll be okay" i guess he could sense my nervousness. after doing a few tests, the doctor leaves. "baby, it's gonna be okay, alright? it's probably just a stomach bug." he tries to calm me down. "i know, but what if it's something different?" i shake away the thought, and the doctor comes back.
"mr. and mrs. winston you are going to be having a baby. congratulations!" i slap my hand over my mouth, and tears of joy rush down my cheeks. "w-we're gonna have a baby?" i exclaim he just nods, with a huge smile on his face.
"i'll leave you too alone, congratulations." he says and then leaves. i turn to dally with a smile spread across my face. "we're gonna be a family dal!" he has tears threatening to fall from his eyes. "we're gonna be a family." he repeats.
