Once in Samsung-dong, she started giving directions and made me stop in front of an expensive-ass bungalow. She pulled the hood over her eyes and stepped out of the car after grabbing her stuff. She walked around the back and tapped on the driver seat window. I rolled it down, raising my brows. She put a hand on the hood of the car, leaning in,
"You can take the car. I'll pick it up whenever"

And here I thought she was going to say thank you. "A'ight", I nodded. She looked real dangerous with that piercing on. And the way she was leaning down, the orange streetlight casting shadows over her sharp features...
"But just to be clear", I curled a finger at her to come closer. She stared at my finger then back at my face. So instead, I leaned forward and spoke in a whisper. "You ain't into some shady business are you? Y'know...marijuana", I cocked my head, "crack...?"

She didn't smile, but her eyes visibly brightened. I call that a win. Tilting her head, she arched one brow. The one with the stud. She drummed her fingers on the hood.
  "Drive safe, sunbae"

The fuck was that?

I didn't sign up for this shit. Fuck it, now I'm certain that she's doing something illegal. She straightened up and stepped back. I gave her a fake ass smile and rolled the window back up. I drove away slowly, looking in the rear-view to see where she went. I thought it would be the bungalow in front of which she made me stop, but in fact, she didn't go into any of the houses. She disappeared somewhere between them. Like walking headfirst into a wall.

"What the fuck?"

I turned the car around and switched off the headlights. I drove back to where I dropped her off at a slow pace. In this kind of car, I was silent as the night. Driving past the bungalow, I saw something I had missed earlier on. An alley. It was right there between two houses, so narrow it was almost invisible. I cut the engine and got out of the car. A little spooked and though I won't admit it –concerned- because Fa Fengh was nowhere to be seen. I jogged to the entrance of the alley and stood there, considering my options. She may have wiped her make up and dressed like a gangster but she was still a girl.

She almost strangled me with her thighs once. And she doesn't even have thighs to begin with.

But she's a girl!

The alley lead to another street. The dark, dead silent alley and not wide enough for two people to cross at the same time. Squaring my shoulders, I walked right in. I'll go back once I see that she's fine. It's not concern, I am not a softie. Especially not for a person like that Chinese walking stick. If something happens to her it will be on my head and I have no intentions of ruining my fantabulous-tic career.
