Hide and seek in the forest

Shadow walks out of his house and locks the door. He then walked over to a forest. He sighs. Mobians have never ever dared to go in there.

Not cause its haunted or something. Its just that it were over 10,000 years old forest and mobians have gotten bored of it. They started telling rumors about a witch living there. And those who walks in, never walks out.

He walked in into the forest. He whas searching for something. As long as he walked in there, he felt relieved.

Shadow's POV
This place is beautiful! I wonder why people got bored at this. This is the first time i've ever felt so happy and calm. So calm that i have forgotten all my mistakes. All my sadness. And everything bad i've done or said.

That's when i saw something that i have been looking for. A pink ap- no wait nevermind. Thats not the one. Then i went deeper in into the forest. That took probably 1 hour. The forest whas deep okay!?

I stopped when i heard russle.

Shit thats probably a hunter or something bad! Oh Chaos, maybe even a monster! Oh shut up Shadow, you are too old for that crap. Maybe a kidnapper! A killer!! Thats when i panicked. My brain stopped thinking smart and i jumped right into a bush to hide.

It whas a big bush so i couldnt see and nobody could see me. I heard some humming. Then the humming stopped. The person sits down. I heard that. Then i heard a sniff. What the? I crawled out if the bush and looked. Welp of course, it were a blue hedgehog again. And of course its Sonic.

Normal POV
Sonic were crying. He cried hardly. Shadow just frowns. Why is he... Shadow thought. He then decided to crawl up to Sonic to ask him whats wrong.

Shadow touches Sonic's shoulder. Sonic got startled and jumps up on his feets facing Shadow. It looked like Sonic whas about to hit Shadow. But stops. "S-Shadow!?" He asked.

"W-What are you doing here!?" Sonic asked almost yelling. "I were just doing sonething.." Shadow said looking away nervously. "What are you doing here?" Sonic looked away.

"Come" Sonic said and started running. Shadow followed.

After about 10 minutes of running. They arrived at a beautiful cliff. Sonic lets go of Shadow's hand and walks to the end of the cliff.

He sits down. He turned around and looked at Shadow with his green emerald eyes and smiled. "Come here! Sit?" He said. Shadow smiled. "Sure" he walks up to Sonic and sits next to him on the end of the cliff. Their feets were outside of the cliff while their body were sitting on the soft grass.

Sonic points out. Shadow looked straight infront of them. And he saw a huuge waterfall. Birds were flying freely. Water were there. There were apple blossom trees and more beautiful trees with more colours.

Shadow's and Sonic's eyes glimmers when they looked at the view. "Wow..Right?" Sonic asked smiling at Shadow. Shadow smiled back. "Yeah."

"So uhh...We are friends now right?" Sonic asks. Shadow nod. "So i can trust you?" Shadow nods again. "I actully come here to set away my sadness ya know? I actully stress alot. I come here to see the view of being free. I come here to cry. But happily. I come here also to run. I run away from my problems. Its hard. But it gets better." Sonic sheds a tear. "Please Shadow?" Shadow looked at Sonic. "D-Don't tell anyone about this place.."

Shadow smiled nicely and hugs Sonic. "Of course." "Thank you..." Sonic hugs back letting out tears or joy and sadness.

About 30 minutes later. Sonic stood up. "Well i gotta go now." He says. Shadow smiled "i understand that." "You coming?" Shadow thought for a moment. "No, I'll go later." Sonic nods in understanding. Then he dashes of leaving Shadow look at the view.

Shadow's POV
Okay, he left. Good. I stood up and jumped down off the cliff. I slid on the rocks and dirt with my hands to not fall and hurt myself. When i finally reached the ground. I did a backflip and landed on my feets.

Oh dayum. The view looks nicer down here.

I saw pink, green, red and more other colours of trees and leafs. Until i saw one that i have been searching for. I walked up to it. I groan. The leafs are so fricking far up! This is gonna take some time...

Sonic's POV
I arrived home. I unlocked the door. "Where have you've been!?!?" Yelled my stepdad, Zepher. He whas a dark blue hedgehog wich do drugs and drink. He 'works' somewere he never tells us. I shaked in fear. "I..I..." i stuttered not knowing what to say. "I were at a friends house. Where is mom, Manic and Sonia?" I noticed that he were drunk. Again.

He chuckles. "This is the fucking 30th time you said that you were at a friend house. What going on bitch?" I shaked more and i felt like im gonna faint. I dont want him to know about the place or else he will destroy my life!!

"N-Nothing! B-But you never answered my-" "They are on vacation without you." He growls getting annoyed. My pupils were small. I ran up to my room.
Why didnt they tell me!?

I felt depressed.

I heard my stepdad walk into his bedroom. I decided to stay in my room incase he does something bad to me..

Thats when i heard a knock on our door. I walked quietly to my door and looked out. I saw my stepdad's bedroom door a little open and i heard him snooze.
Also that my dear fellas, is loud.

Then i walked downstairs quietly and straight to the door. I opened it trying not to make a sound, and i saw nobody there!

I looked around until i looked down. I saw a flower. An apple blossom flower. It were beautiful! I wonder who gave it to me?

And smiled and smelled the flowers soft and sweet scent! I walked into the kitchen and grabbed a vase and filled it up with water. Then i put the flower in! It looked nice! I walked up to my room with it and placed it next to my window.

I sat down and looked at it for a long time.
Until somebody grabbed me by the quills and dragged me out of my room. The person whas my stepdad. "A-Ah Ow! Z-Zepher! What are you-" he shushed me. He dragged me into his room and threw me onto his bed.
