It was a beautiful morning... Sonic and his family got back together (not Zepher) and they were very happy! Shadow and Maria helped them to find a new home. Turns out they live in a castle since...they were royal ya.

Maria helped Justice find a family to live with since she can't live with them. Shadow really wanted Justice tp live with them though. But, face it Shadow. She wanna have her own family.

Its been a week. Sonic's 'friends' have not been heard of and Eggman either. Zepher has been gone and everyone thinks he's dead. He is, isn't he..?

Maria decided to be honest with him. She told him that he isn't an experiment and over 50 years old. It was just to keep him safe. And too bad...Dr Gerald is dead. His body was found dead 3 days ago.

So they live alone now. Now, lets get into this!

Shadow's POV
......*beep beep beep beep beep* I turned my alarm off. I groan and had my arm at my eyes and my eyes were closed. The light from the sun shone inside my room.
Even though i wanted to sleep again, i stoodup from my bed. Its monday...school. I yawned quietly and strectched slightly and walked up to the window.

The flowers were still great. I looked at the blue rose i found. It gave me flashbacks from last week when Sonic and his family had to leave.

-Flashback-

Sonic- "Okay Shadow, bye! Thanks for everything."

Both smiled. Sonic were about to leave when Shadow stopped him and told him to wait and that he had something for him. Shadow ran upstairs to his room and grabbed something.

He ran down and had the thing behind his back with his hand. Sonic tilted his head a bit.

Sonic- "Whats behind your back?"

Shadow- "here. I took it from your old house."

Shadow gave Sonic a red rose. Sonic gasped.

Sonic- "was it you who gave me the rose?"

Sonics cheeks flushed a bit pink. Shadow nodded his head. Sonic took the rose and blushed.

Sonic- "t-thank you...uhh...See you at school i guess."

Sonic smiled sweetly. Shadow just smiled back a little. They waved goodbye.

I kept the apple blossom. I decided to give it to my crush when i confess instead. Or...actually, no. I think keeping the flower would be a better idea. I mean, i gave it to Sonic at first, i think i should keep it. That shows that we're forgiven of our past!

Great idea. I put my socks on and my gloves and went downstairs to get some breakfast. Maria was awake. As usual. She was making panncakes.

Shadow- "Morning Maria."

Maria- "Oh! Morning Shadow! Breakfast is almost ready"

Shadow- "pff"

Maria- "what??"

Shadow- "You sound like a mom"

I said and smirked. She pouted playfully and glared at me. I just chuckled. I sat down and she gave me a plate of panncakes with honey dripping from the top, cream on the top and a cherry on the cream!

Shadow- "gee Maria. Thats alot! When did you have time to even learn to make this??"

Maria- "well...I searched from Google! Plus, i was with a friend and she teached me!"
