It was ironic that the girl who was never supposed to be born survived while her best friend didn't.
Persephone Avery, left confused, angry, and with a desire to avenge Cassius Warrington, returns to Hogwarts after her Seventh Year for training to become a Professor. But without Cassius, Hogwarts feels empty and desolate, made so even more by the horrible Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor.
But Persephone is there for another reason: Hermione Granger, Harry Potter, and Ron Weasley are starting a secret club, and they want Persephone to motivate the other students to join. Hermione promises that they will fight for Cassius.
In a school broken apart by the death of a student, the four Houses begin to secretly unite together to fight against the Ministry, who's telling them that Cassius's death was nothing more than an "accident".
Persephone Avery is about to show them that ignoring her was the biggest mistake the Ministry could make.
