Fire in the Youth
King of the moon elves was standing next to Kagura. She laid down on a stone bedding that was warm thanks to the hot water that was inside od the little pool. She was relaxed knowing everything will be fine.
She wanted to take off her dress to show him the wound but je just motioned her to keep it and took out one of the ancient scrolls with, at first sigth, unreadable symbols. It was ancient elf writing that not many could ready but as he was a well-educated man, he was one of them.
They were surrounded by silence. Estes was focused on his work while Kagura was left alone in her thoughts. The king looked like a ghost, he was pale and had white hair. His eyes were also white and slightly glowing as he started telling the words in an unknown language. Slowly, a line of bright light connected the two, it was like a combination of water and moonlight. It was the healing spell that worked so well Kagura's wound faded away in matter of moments.
After the healing, he sat down next to her and asked: "How are you feeling?" He had a warm smile with fatherly note in it.
The girl said: "Well... I don't know... I don't feel different... But I don't feel like I'm bleeding either." She said taking a look at her side and gently touching it. "It doesn't hurt any more so I guess it is a good sign. Thank you."
Estes smiled. "Nothing, my lady. I'm glad I could help a part Onmyouji family." He said telling her that he knows. Even though he was the official king of dark half of the land the Onmyouji family was still the highest rank, the first ones under the gods.
"H-how do you know?!" Kagura asked jumping up, her eyes wide opened. "D-did somebody tell you?!" She asked, panicking slightly.
"Don't you worry." White haired man said. "Nobody told me, it's just that now that I've connected with you, I sensed enormus power inside you. I see that you've learnt how to use the weapon of yin and yang." He noticed. "Just as the prophecy says."
The girl watched in awe. He could read anybody like that. "Yes... I have." She started. "But... What's up with the prophecy thingie?" She asked rising an eyebrow.
"What? Has nobody really told you yet??" Estes asked in surprise. "Have you never been wondering why have you been sent to train out in the world at such a young age. Don't you know that in your family tradition is that children stay hidden until they reach 21 and officialy become a man, or in your case a woman with full power, rights and control?" He said.
Kagura just thought a little. "I- I've never actually thought about it... But you still haven't answered to my question." She said crossing her arms.
