"Phil?"

Phil walked towards Pj and sat on the nearest stool to him. He rested his arm on the counter and rested his cheek on his own fist. "That's my name, don't wear it out." Pj sighed and frowned. Phil was a cool guy and generally an okay friend, but he had a superiority complex that crashed the mood and caused him to do dumb things that he would regret...Like what he did to Dan.

Pj didn't want to choose sides, especially when he's known Phil long before he even turned into the "Edge Lord", as Chris likes to refer to him, so it would feel wrong to up and leave him. "What are you doing here?" Pj wanted to get this over with, he's been here long enough. "Same reason you're here. A drink," Phil turned to the bar tender and raised his hand to catch his attention, "I want whatever he's having," gesturing to Pj. The bartender nodded his head and began to work on the drink.

A different voice came from behind the two of them, "Double that." It definitely wasn't an uncommon phrase in a bar, so the the bartender knew it was meant to be heard by him and pulled out a second glass. Phil turned in his seat and grinned at the owner of the voice. It was Chris and he was grinning too, which made Pj smile because Chris was contagious in almost every aspect. Pj looked away, catching a glimpse of Dan. He was sitting on the edge of the stage, mingling with some of the people who went up their to praise him. Either he was red from the alcohol or all the attention he was getting, Pj guessed it was the ladder.

Chris squeezed inbetween the two and grabbed the drinks that were just now being served to them. He handed a glass to Phil and tapped it before downing it with a face of disgust. Chris' voice lowered as he leaned over to Phil, "Did you bring it?" Phil gave a slight nod and pulled open his jacket enough to reveal a ziploc bag. It was full of smaller clear bags with tiny white pills inside them. "This batch should last a little longer, split it with Pj. Bring me the money after every few sales." Pj perked up at his name, but due to his selective heading, he missed the rest of the conversation. "What about me?" Chris sighed and put his hand on Pjs back, "We're starting our runs again tomorrow."

"Actually, can you drop by the usual spots tonight? I told a few guys that you'd meet them. They are leaving town for a couple weeks and they said if they can't get it by tonight, they will go to someone else. That's bad for business." Pj nodded, it would be bad for business, especially since they have been out of supply for a while. "We would, but we can't." Chris really didn't want to be an errand boy tonight and they actually had a valid excuse not to!

"What? Why?" Phil sighed, he really couldn't depend on anyone anymore. He stood up and pulled his jacket closed. He got ready to walk away when Pj grabbed his arm. "Seriously, Phil, we would, but we have someone else with us and we are pretty much responsible for getting him home tonight." Phil sighed again, but this time it was more of a relief. It sounded true, but who would they be hanging out with? Was it just a good lie? Phil's eyes scanned the room for someone who looked familiar. As far as he knew, Chris and Pj didn't have any other friends. He didn't see any other people from their school. Wait. Phil's heart skipped a beat as he squinted his eyes to focus better. It was Dan. "I can take him home, besides I already know where he lives." Chris made a skeptical face. "We had a project togethe-, you know what? I don't need to explain myself to you. Go make the runs." He opended his jacket and pulled the bag out. He closed his fist around it to hide its contents and handed it off to Chris. "I'll talk you guys later." Phil sat back down as Chris and Pj walked towards the door to leave.

Phil called the bartender over and ordered another drink. After he drinks this, he'll take Dan home. Phil tapped his fingers on the counter while he waited on his drink to be made. The bartender eventually slid him his drink. Phil nodded a thanks and grabbed the glass. He went to take a sip, but set the glass back down when he heard yelling from behind him.
