Chapter 36

I walked out onto the stage.
Everyone could see me, and they screamed, so fricken loud. I couldn't tell if it was a good thing or bad.
I was now centre stage, looking out at the hundreds of faces staring back at me.
S- Hi everyone.
Screams of 'HI' and 'I LOVE YOU SO MUCH' surrounded me.
I giggled.
S- I love you guys too. Now unfortunately, Ebens flight got canceled so you're stuck with me tonight.
More screams. I was expecting 'boos' and fans telling me to get off the stage, but that didn't happen.
S- Tonight I will be singing 5 songs. 3 covers, and 2 originals.
Even more screams.
S- Now I must warn you, I've never preformed my original songs before, I've never even sung them to the guys. You're the first to hear them, and I hope they exceed your expectations.
Firstly I'm starting with a song I wrote called 'Breakway.' (It's the Kelly Clarkson song, but let's pretend Sammy wrote it. It's also one of the songs Daniel sung on American Idol, which literally made me cry the first time I heard it.)
It's about my journey from getting to where I am now. Leaving behind my family and friends in Australia, and starting a new life in LA with new friends and a new job. I hope you enjoy it.

I got given a mic stand and a guitar from the stage manager.
This was when my nerves really started kicking in. I wasn't sure I could do it.
I turned my head to side stage, and there stood Jack. He had the biggest smile on his face and gave me a reassuring nod.
I grinned, and took a breath.
The auditorium was near silent.
I strummed the guitar strings, and started playing the first notes.
I took one last breath and started singing.
'Grew up in a small town
And when the rain would fall down
I'd just stare out my window....'
I was giving it my all, getting lost in the lyrics and the strum of the guitar.

A few minutes later my song was over.
I opened my eyes and was snapped out of my daze by loud cheers and clapping.
I smiled. I did it, and I'm ready to do it all over again.
Jack was right, being on stage is one of the best feelings in the world.
I looked over at him. He was surrounded by the other guys, clapping historically and yelling 'THATS MY GIRL.'
I mouthed the words 'I love you' to him, and he mouthed them back.
I couldn't have done it without him.

The cheering died down, and I preformed 3 other songs and another original which is called 'Because Of You' (Yes, another Kelly Clarkson song.)
This song is different. I wrote it the day after Jayden kidnaped me. It's all about heartache and being afraid. Afraid is the perfect word to describe the emotion I feel towards Jayden.
Not gonna lie, it was hard to preform, but I managed it.
Everyone gave me one last cheer as I said thankyou, and left the stage.
I walked right into Jacks arms.
J- That was amazing, I'm so proud of you.
S- You were right, being on stage is the best, as soon as I started singing, I couldn't get enough of the feeling.
He kissed my head.
J- I didn't know you wrote songs, why didn't you tell me about them?
S- I didn't think they were good enough.
J- Aw babe, nothing from you will ever not be good enough.
I have him a kiss on the lips.
D- Jack, we're on.
J- Shit, got to go, I love you.
S- Go our there and kill it, I know you will. I'll be watching. I love you.
And with that, he left my grip and went on stage....
