Chapter 25

S- Yes. I will.
J- Sammy, are you serious?
S- Yeah. I want to give him another shot. The truth is, I'm still not over you Jayden. I-
I take a deep breath, and think about what I'm going to say next.
S- I love you Jayden.
Jayden smiles.
Ja- I love you too princess.
Jacks face goes red, his hands clenched, and tears in his eyes.
J- Sammy-
I give him the same look of fear.
S- Can I hug you Jayden? I could really use a hug right now.
He nods his head sideways, motioning for me to go to him.
I slowly walk through the crowd of bobbing people, and make my way into the stage.
I begin to cry and hold my arms out for Jayden.
He comes towards me and I wrap my arms around his neck as he wraps his arms down below my shoulder blades, still with the gun in his hands.
Now I've got him into my trap.
I hold around his neck tightly, lift my knee and kick him where the sun don't shine, twice. He falls to the ground and holds his bits. I knock the gun out of his hand and pick it up.
S- SOMEONE CALL THE POLICE NOW.
I point the gun at Jayden, my hands shaking.
Ja- Samm-
S- SHUT UP JAYDEN-
I slap him across the face.
S- Thats what you get you sick son of a bitch.
I look over at Jack. He has tears in his eyes, but relief on his face.
He runs up onto the stage and grabs me from behind, his arms around my waist, and his head buried into the crook of my neck. But I'm not letting Jayden out of my view.
I felt wetness on my skin.
S- Jack?
He lifts his head, eyes red, and a tear rolls down his cheek.
J- You really scared me.
Now it was my turn to cry.
S- I know, I'm sorry, I had too.
I dropped the gun as the police came bursting through the door. They put Jayden in hand cuffs and took him outside.
Now I could finally hug Jack properly.
I turn into him, and bury my head into his shoulder. I silently cry as he rubs up and down my back.
J- Wait, so you didn't mean it, the stuff you said to Jayden?
S- No, are you crazy. I don't love Jayden, I've never loved him, I love-
I pause.
S- I love you Jack.
His face lights up as if he has one the lottery.
He smiles the same smile that I'm in love with.
J- Well guess what, I love you too.
He leans in and so do I.
Finally, this feeling that I've been wanting to feel comes rushing over me.
Our lips connect, and move perfectly in sync, like we've been kissing for years.
You know when people say 'sparks fly'? Now I understand what that means. There was something about this kiss that was electric. It was perfect.
We slowly break apart, and he rests his lips against my forehead, pulling me in again, so that there is not a single gap of space in-between our bodies.
It startles me a little bit when everyone starts cheering. I forgot that we were on stage, for everyone to see.
All the guys, Danielle, Addie and Ebony are going wild, screaming their heads off and yelling- "MY SHIP HAS SAILED!"
Jack and I just laugh, and enjoy being with each other.
J- Hold on a second.
He breaks the hug and looks into my eyes.
J- Was that your first kiss?
S- Oh umm, yeah, I guess it was.
J- Mine too.
S- Really? Nooooo. How could a handsome guy like you, not have had his first kiss yet?
J- Well, I wanted it to be special, and I wanted it to be with 'the one'
S- I'm the one?
J- I mean, if you want to be 'the one'... 'my one',then yeah.
I pull him in and kiss him again, the same feeling returns, only this time, I know, I'm the one...
