Infinity War (Short)- T'Challa 👑

Y/n POV

I sat on the bed anxiously waiting for T'Challa to come back from his mission with Okoye and Shuri.

He's with the rest of the Avengers dealing with Thanos and the infinity stones. I'm worried for him since he needed all the warriors and even M'Baku for this fight. He told me everything is going to be okay before he left and I wanted to believe him.

But deep down I can't help but know he's not going to come back. Alive and well at least.

T'Challa moved Ramonda and I to a safe place so we won't get hurt.

I was only a few years younger then T'Challa. I grew up as one of Shuri's closest-maybe only- true friends and I always had an attraction for her older brother so when he asked me out I was ecstatic!

It's only been a few months to a year that we've been in a relationship but I'm very confident in the future with him. If there is going to be one.

I smiled while thinking of the words he'll say to me before a mission.

"My queen don't ever worry about having to lose me."

He'll kiss my knuckles and smile while looking me in my eyes.

"I will fight and fight just to make sure that I make it back to you."

I smiled at the thought of him until a knock on the door interrupted my thoughts. I smiled and sped to open the door for T'Challa.

"T'Challa!" My smile slowly went down when it was just Okoye, Shuri and a few others. "W-where is T'Challa?" Ramonda rushed beside me. Shuri collapsed in her mother arms and the tears from Okoye and the others told us the answer.

"N-no." I stumbled back until I tripped and fell onto the floor. "NO!" I screamed out and slammed my fist on the ground.

"He lied! He said he'll be alright!" Okoye rushed to me and wrapped her arms around me. "We will get him back!" I slowly looked at her in confusion, "How? What happened to him?" Okoye furrowed her eyebrows, "He didn't tell you?" I stood up quickly.

"Tell me wha-"

"MOTHER!"

Our heads whipped over to see Ramonda hand breaking off like sand. "Shuri!" Then her arm and half her body until she was gone completely. Shuri fell to the floor and cried out.

"No!" Okoye then ran to Shuri and embraced her. Tears rushed down my cheeks as I walked over to them both but I stopped when a feeling took over me.

"O-Okoye." They looked up at me and both their eyes widened. "Y/n! This can't be happening!" Shuri screamed.

I fell to the ground and started to feel more of me disappearing until everything went black.
