Lilys POV

I was reading in Harrys room, when suddenly, my eyes closed. I watched as Voldemort had arrived on Halloween night to kill all of us. James died as did I, but Harry lived. I caught the date, this Halloween.

I opened my eyes to find James by my side. "Lily, what happened?"

I smiled, "just had a bad dream is all. Minerva wants me to finish my Charms Mastary. As soon as its completed, I'll be allowed to publish this." I flicked my wand as a slender journal came soaring out.

"Your inventions? Nice! Im in the works of having my Transfiguration spells published. Now honey, I insist that you dont work yourself too hard." James ruffled her hair.

"James, I need to go out for a while." I said abruptly.

"Whoa, what about Dumbledore's orders?" James asked.

I smirked, "James, Im a lot less likely to do something rash, trust ne please. If I run into trouble, Ill send Sparky to you ok?" My doe appeared as a reminder.

James sighed, "fine then. Remember if you cant get back to me, seek refuge at Potter Manor." He kissed his wife.

"Will do. I should be back by nightfall, if not, I will let you bring Prongs to find me." I smiled

"Be safe, and Ill see you soon."

I twisted on the spot arriving in the livingroom of the Longbottoms. "Alice? Frank?"

The couple came down from upstairs. "Lily! Oh what a surprise! What are you doing here?" Frank asked quickly.

"Alice can I talk to you alone? Sorry Frank, lady talk." I blushed

"Say no more, I'm coming Neville!" Frank called.

"What?" Alice asked at once.

"I need to draw a rune at the doorway of your house. Dont ask me why, but it will ensure that you will be able to see Neville grow up." I winked.

Alice gasped and stepped aside. "Do what you need to do Lily, we trust you."

I grinned, Alice and Frank had insisted on naming me godmother to Neville and in turn, I named Alice godmother to Harry.

Using my photographic memory, I began to draw the complex protection rune. It was almost sunset by the time I had finished. "Stay safe, Alice." I kissed the ward as a shield errected itself around their house.

I twisted on the spot, landing safely inside our protective wards. I peered into the window and saw Sirius and Remus were here, perfect.

"Hello gentlemen." I smiled coming into the house.

"Lily!" They all chourased together.

"I was telling James to have you switch Secret-Keepers to Peter. Voldemort is more likely to come after me." Sirius offered.

"Ok...on one condition, we write a legal document of it." I replied firmly.

"Ok then." James shrugged.

"Fine by me."

I sat down and summoned quill and parchment. I wrote:

I Lily Potter am of sound body and mind agree to Sirius Blacks suggestion of switching Secret- Keepers from Sirius to Peter Pettigrew. As means of fooling Voldemort.
Lily Potter, James Potter & Sirius Black
Remus Lupin witness

"Now all we need is Peters signature." Sirius grinned.

"That wont be a problem, he's supposed to come by later today to see Harry." James replied as he rocked Harry in his arms.

*

"Now Peter we need you to sign this agreement." I pushed the document to him.

"Of course Lily, of course." Peter replied in his squeaky voice.

I knew he always had a crush on me, so i used it to my advantage. I kissed his cheek after he signed it causing Remus and Sirius to wolf whistle.

I rolled my eyes. Harry crying alerted me as I went up to his room. "Shh...sweetie, Mamas here." I smiled picking him up.

Being the paranoid one, I was always askimg people to sign legal documents. James believed I got it after I became Lady Potter.

I continued to rock Harry back to sleep. An hour later, I heard the door close meaning the Mauraders had left our house. Now came the hard part, not to be at each others throats day in and day out.

The dull days began to blur together as Harrys first Haloween approches. I smiled as James dressed him up in a lion costume.

I laughed when Harry pretended to roar like a lion. However as night had came closer, I had to do something. "James, would you like to come with us to dinner tonight?" I asked shyly.

"What about Dumbledores orders? You are the one who tells me not to break the rules." James added.

"We can use magic to disguise ourselves, come on!" I tried not to sound scared, but James wasnt buying it this time.

"Whay is going on Lily? All of this sounds like me, not you."

"James, trust me ok? If you dont join us, just promise you wont be here between 8 and 9pm." I almost begged.

James came up to kiss me. "Ill leave the same time as you. No one will be home, I promise."

Third POV

Voldemort walked through the wards surrounding the Potters residence. Something was wrong, no one seemed to be home. He blasted open the door, but no voices. He had been betrayed! There was no point in destroying a deserted house. Voldemort left, very disappointed in his servants infomation.

*

"Sorry Moony, I promised Lily I would return home I-" James stopped short at the appearence of Sparky, his wifes doe.

"James, meet me at the base please. Somethings wrong. Dont tell anyone." Lily stated.

"I have to go, the wifes calling!" James laughed as he touched his Lordship ring and disappeared.

He arrived inside his childhood home and to Lily running up to hug him.

*

"Oh James! He found our cottage! When I returned, the wards were broken! We cant tell anyone where we are! I have a feeling a traitors in our mist." I spewed.

"Whoa, hold on. We cant return to the cottage?" James asked.

I smiled slyly. "I never said that." Out of my pocket I drew our cottage. "Want it on the grounds?"

"Yes please, now to business, how will we find the traitor?" James asked

"Easy. Tell your friends a different location where we'll be. If we bump into Voldemort, we will then know..."

"Who is spying on us." James growled.
