Hey guys! So just like the title says, this is just some background history (In the story) of Mitch, Jerome, and Betty throughout the years. I hope you guys understand! Enjoy!
Jerome's POV:Age 5:
My mom and dad were about to go out with me to get the new chewbacca toy that they had at the store. I was so excited! Chewbacca was my favorite animal in the entire world! They were so cute and fluffly!
My family was the best. I had my mom; the funny and playful one, my dad; the hard-working and supportive one, and my grandma; one of the people I could always come talk to. We lived with my grandma because she kinda got sad without grandpa. I don't know, I just love them all!
Age 10:
School. Best thing ever! I have the bestest friend, this guy Mitch. He's so funny and outgoing! I'm so glad he's my best friend. We talk all the time at lunch and recess, and he's kinda cute. Not like that! Okay, maybe a little like that. I can't help it! Oh well, I'm sure it'll go away soon.
At home, I got some sad news. My grandma passed away. She was the one I could always talk to. She even knew about Mitch. She knew that I thought he was cute, and she said that we looked good together. I disregarded it though. It would never really happen.
Age 15:
Mitch is still my best friend. Yes, after 5 years, he's still my best friend. Amazing. We still joke around like always, but something changed one day. I started catching him staring at me in class, and after he knew I caught him, he got sad. I don't know what's up with him. Anyways, I've got this crush on this girl Louise. She's pretty, smart, and funny. And she's the only person who doesn't mind my big nose. I think.
I told Mitch that I asked out Louise and he seemed happy...for the most part. He said he was happy, but his face seemed depressed. I don't know what's wrong with him these days. Oh well, I'll just leave him alone for now.
Age 18:
Graduation. Possibly one of the best days of my life. I finally get a break from homework. Yes! And again, my best friend is still Mitch. He's really an amazing friend. Im so lucky to have him. Louise is great too. She can be a little annoying at times but for the most part, she's great. Mitch has gotten better too. I mean, he's smiling more but, he wears long sleeves even in the summer. Hmm.
Mitch's POV:Age 5:
My mom, dad, and sister are awesome. My mom helps me with cleaning, my dad helps me with the TV, and my sister helps me with crushes. She's the only one I can come to with a crush. It's funny to have a crush when you're little, you just notice their outside.
Right now, I have a crush on this guy named Jerome. He's my best friend right now. But, I'm not ready to tell my parents yet. They don't need to know.
Age 10:
Jerome hasn't gotten uglier since I was only 5. He's just gotten cuter and cuter. I'm still not ready to tell my parents though. They don't need to know my personal life. However, I can go to my sister with this stuff.
I told my sister about Jerome, and she started going crazy...in a good way! She started giving my tips about how I can try and get him to like me, and be more pleasing, with her teasing me a little on the side. This was the one person I could come to with my crush.
Age 15:
At school, things weren't going well with Jerome. He told me he liked this girl Louise. Once he told me that, my heart shattered. But, I tried to put on a fake smile for him and pretend I was happy. Meanwhile, I decided I was ready to tell my parents I was gay.
"Mom, dad, I'm gay." Those four words drove me crazy the past two days. I paced in my sister's room, practicing with her on how to tell my parents. She told me I would be fine, but I don't know If I believed her. I hope she was right.
Dinner came, and I was ready. "Mom, dad, I'm gay." It was all a blur. From the moment I said those words, to the minute I was kicked out, it was a blur. The tears, the screaming, the running. It was all a blur. I had nowhere to go. I was kicked out immediately and was told never to see them again. I was heartbroken. I ran to an abandoned warehouse that my dad used to work in, and have stayed there since.
Age 18:
Graduation. Possibly one of the worst days of my life. I would truly be alone then. Jerome's been dating Louise ever since middle school. I'm still living in the shit warehouse that I've been forced into. At least I had Adam as a backup. I hope things will get better. The pain has gotten worse, I haven't known how to cope with it.
Betty's POV:Age 5:
My dads are awesome! I have my dad and my papa. How I would describe them...my dad would be the giggly and funny one (Mitch), and my papa would be the strong and cuddly one (Jerome). My papa always takes me out to do combat with him. It's really fun! There's an axe that I use, I think papa named it...Betty? Hey! That's my name! Silly papa.
Age 10:
Elementary school has started. I love it so much! I have tons of friends too! Let's see, there's so many I can't name them all! Also, their soulmate watches haven't gone off, but mine has. With this girl named Skylar. I only saw her when I was 1, but when I did, she was beautiful. Her long brown hair, swoopy fringe, and maroon eyes. So pretty.
Papa's still taking me out to do combat with him, but this time, making me try a sword. It wasn't bad, but I was terrible with it. I much rather prefer an axe. Speaking of which, I just got my own for my 10th birthday! It's a nice goldeny-brown color. And it shines in the light. My life's good.
Age 15:
Middle school has gotten even better than elementary! I have even more friends, and even more adventures. I've even gotten asked out by multiple guys and girls, but I always say I'm taken. It's semi-true. Okay, I lied. I went out with this other girl...once! It was just a one time thing, don't worry. I just wanted to experiment. It ended by me finding out that she was cheating on her boyfriend with me. Not good.
Things at home are still awesome. Me and my parents always get along well and we watch Modern Family whenever we can. It's a really good show and to be honest, I kind of have a crush on Ariel Winter. (A/N I actually do...a lot.)
Age 16:
I'm so happy! Right now, it's the beginning of spring break, and I've just been told that I'm going to meet Skylar again! Ahh! I'm so excited! I hope she remembers me. I hope she'll like me. Okay Betty, calm down, you'll be fine. Just focus on the now. Good. You're fine, for now.
