Mitch's POV:

I still could not believe that I'm married to the sweetest guy in the world, and have a 16 year old daughter who apparently has a soulmate! And that I got it all at once, it's mind blowing, overwhelming to say the least.

I walked down the hall corridor of mine and Jerome's house when suddenly I was stopped by him. "Oh no, you're staying in your room mister." He had a smug look on his face which made me very scared. I had no idea what he had planned, but apparently it was something to try and get my memory back. I really hope it would.

Jerome's POV:

I started getting ready for part 1 of getting Mitch's memory back. I was so excited. Don't get me wrong he was still the same old Mitch, but he wasn't exactly himself. It's complicated. It was like he got some things I said, but the rest were all a blur it seemed.

Besides that, I was setting up the scene of our first date, on a picnic at the park. Sure it may seem stupid and simple, but it was special. It was that magical moment that we both knew we would do this more often. The moment when I realized it was, as weird as it is, in an abandoned warehouse, but our first real date, was amazing. He came out a little early when I was packing the basket and I had to shoo him back into our room. I really hope this would work.

A few minutes later we got in the car and immediately he started asking questions. "Where are we going? What are we doing? I want to know more about you!" That last one wasn't a question, but it still warmed my heart to know that he cared. "Shh, baby, calm down we're almost there, you'll see." I saw the slight disappointment in his eyes from the corner of mine. I giggled knowing how curious he naturally was.

We got there shortly after and once he saw it, his eyes sparkled. "A park?! How far are you taking me back Jerome?" He said with laughter in his voice. I grabbed his hand and lead him out of the car, and then covered his eyes so he couldn't see the blanket on the ground. I led him to it slowly, and then uncovered his eyes, letting them sparkle when he saw the blanket and basket on the floor. They didn't just sparkle though, it had a hint of something else in them, but I couldn't put my finger on it.

We were about half way done with eating our food, I made poutine for him, when he stared off into space for a while, then looking at me and saying,"I remember." My heart swelled at the thought of him remembering all of our past, but I asked,"How much do you remember?" "Up to the point where we were at a beach, but I don't remember what happened after we got there." He scratched his head like he was thinking really hard. The beach is where I proposed. Well, I guess I know my next memory to work on.
