Sophia's POV:

This is for the best. For her.

The team reminded me of how dangerous it could be for my mother to have any contact with me, since Ivy is out trying to hunt me down. She'll find anyone I'm close to, and use that against me, I'm sure. So, we decided that we were going to take out every ounce of memory she's had of me.

When I see her in the afternoon, she screams at me. Asking where I was the night before.. I make up a story about how I was over at Janets house and how I lost track of time since we were watching a bunch of movies and I fell asleep... She soon calmed down and I hugged her close from behind, as she prepared lunch.

"I love you." I told her.

"I do to, honey, more than anything."

Later on that night, as they slept, Ethan crept into their room and wiped me from their memory. I waited at a nearby park, under a circular, wooden arch and bench, and wrote.

Goodbye

We'll spin like the sun and moon,

Even though I'm far away and your memory

Of me has started to fade.

I'll look for you,

In this dream,

So I hope you wait for me.

Goodbye, to the one who danced with me in this life.

If only I could feel your warm embrace one more time.

A couple tears spill onto the page. And then I see Ethan walk towards me, he has my cat with him. He hands her to me and tells my room was refurbished into an office. Everything had to go.

"We'll provide her with everything she needs. Don't worry Sophia, she'll be okay."

I nod my head, if I speak I think that I'll start sobbing.

He then takes me to my new room in the home we were at earlier, we're staying in Dipilto, Nicaragua. He told me that they picked the location because it was low-key, making it harder for anyone to track them down.

I don't get out the room till early the next morning, I go into the kitchen, to look for something to eat. I find lucky charms in one of the cabinets and some milk in the fridge and pour myself cereal. I eat, while I walk towards the living room, and open the curtains that cover the large clear windows. Mountains swerve up and down, dense with pine trees. A cloud of mist huge the tips. It's so beautiful. I go downstairs and find a plastic chair and sit in it. I watch as the sun slowly inches higher into the sky. Birds sing. The air is sweet. A woman with caramel skin comes up to me, and sits beside me in a chair. We speak in Spanish, which I speak fluently since I'm from Venezuela. I greet her and she tells me that her name is Veronica, and she offers me some honey that her husband brought from a honeycomb. When I taste it, it melts in my mouth. So much better than the honey I bay at the store. She tells me a little about her life, and how her daughter just got married. Her eyes light up when she talks about her, she has a lot of pride in her.

Then we both hear chatter coming from behind us. We both look, and I see Daniel talking with a girl I haven't seen before. Her dark hair is cut to her shoulders, and she wears a tight crop top and skirt. Who was she? You know what, I bet he went out last night and they hooked up. Great. When Daniel sees me, he stops but I don't smile at him.

"Morning Sophia." I murmur a good morning, then get up and say bye to the Veronica. I quickly make my wake up the stairs, I almost fall on the last step but Daniel catches me.
