Dance of Love

Chapter 11

Sophia's POV:

I didn't realize I knew who he was until I got closer to him. He was smoking a blunt with his two other friends near a park.

"The world is ending and you're here getting high, Jordan." I say as he turns around to look at me.

His smile widens when he sees me. He has crystal blue eyes and dreaded brownish blonde hair. We used to be best friends but, of course, I moved to another part of Florida right before high school began so we lost contact over time.

"Hey girl," He says getting up and hugging me. "Damn, I haven't seen you in years." He gives me a quick look up and down. "You grew up." I slap his arm.

"Stop, you butt. I have a boyfriend now, so watch out or he'll beat you up." His eyebrows lift up.

"Hmm, foreal?"

"Yep."

"Damn, I missed my chance then."

Right then Daniel comes and he steps back a few paces, and he points to him. "This is your guy?"

"His name is Daniel"

"You could have done so much better, Sophia"

Daniel gives him an incredulous look. "What did you say?"

"I'm joking bro" He says putting his hands up, with a smirk.

Then he looks at me, "So how did you find me?"

"It's a long story."

We take him to a nearby coffee shop and fill him in on everything, and to prove to him of our abilities we show him in the back since it's vacant. He freaks out at first but soon accepts it.

"Nothing is normal anymore. Sometimes I feel like I'm on this crazy trip." He says. Then he asks me what his abilities are.

"I don't know." We stand there for a few seconds before I get an idea. My ring! I may help him. I take it off and give it to him.

"Here, put this on." He does." Now focus your energy on it, and then let that energy spread around your body like an aura." He closes his eyes, and concentrates. "You can release it now, let your ability flow." When he opens his eyes, there appears a second version of him right next to him.

"Dope" They both say in unison. He has the ability to multiply.

We then take him to the home in Australia. He goes straight to sleep. Janet on the other hand is still up, in her room, with Lily. I can hear them laughing together.

There's a chance that we may not come back. These may be our last moments... Ugh, I have to stop thinking so negatively. Stop.

We're going to be okay. We'll win that wish.

I plop down onto my bed and look up at the thin canopy above the bed and the way the white fabric flows. I'm scared. I don't know what will happen tomorrow.

Daniel gets on the bed next to me, and then goes to give me a kiss on my cheek.

"Don't worry love." He says as I roll over and hug him close to me.

We stand face to face with the monsters. Ivy wears a skin-tight red suit while Loraine wears a blue one. Our whole team wears black ones. Loraine blows a kiss my way, and I have to suppress the urge to run over to him and scratch his whole face up.

Daniel puts a hand over my shoulder and looks at me with concerned eyes. "Are you ok?"

"Yeah, I just can't stand their presences" I say. Then I look back at the keeper on a stand positioned high above us. He gets ready to speak.
