Louis' POV
As Niall, Dani and I all walked into the house, I prepared myself for what is going to be either a very good night or a very bad one. Looking around for Ansley, I realized this was a pretty big flat; nice and spacious. I heard Niall close the large wooden door behind him and before I knew it, Ansley was pushing herself through the somewhat large crowd to get over to me. In her hand was a red plastic cup in which I imagined had some form of alcoholic beverage in it. It was only a thought, though. Not once in the two days I've known Ansley did I think of her as the type to drink. Then again, when you really think about it, good girls are always the ones who turn out the baddest.
Their looks are more than deceiving. Something like convincing, hypnotizing even. You look at a girl and you watch the way she acts. If she swears a lot or wears clothes that shows more skin than everyone else or even wears dark make up, you assume she's the trouble. You can tell she isn't innocent just by the vibe she gives off. Now you take a girl that dresses with bright colors, wears light makeup and doesn't show as much skin and she talks quietly and looks and acts sweet and you automatically assume she's innocent. It's one of those things that if you didn't agree with that, you were considered a mad man.
But in reality, the girl who is supposedly "innocent" is one who actually swears so much as if it were her second language. She's one who is far from being a virgin and she smokes and drinks and pretty much does anything out of line. The "bad girl" is one who, when behind closed doors or away form the world, is the sweetest thing in the world. She's the girl that hasn't lost her virginity in hopes of finding the right guy to give her that privilege. She's the one who would apologize to a spider after stepping on it out of fear of it continuing to exist in her presence.
One thing I've learned about girls is that their looks can be so much more than deceiving. And once that thought crossed my mind, I second guessed my liking towards Ansley. If she looked so innocent, that most likely meant she was more than trouble.
I'm glad Ansley got to me before I could assume anything else about her that probably wasn't even close to being true because, remember? She's different.
"Hey, I see you made it here safely," She smiled and wrapped her arms lightly around my shoulders in a quick hug.
I, too, wrapped my arms around her, embracing her warmth as long as it lasted. And when she pulled away I spoke, "Yeah. I hope you don't mind that I brought two more people. They insisted on coming." I whispered the last part. Not exactly sure why I whispered but I did and she laughed.
"Oh it's absolutely fine! The more the merrier, right?" She said loudly over the not-so-loud music with much excitement evident in her voice. I laughed with her and Niall decided now was the time to greet her.
"Hey Ansley," The smirk he carried in his features was the same as the first time he'd met her.
"Hey," She smiled as Dani stepped forward with her arm outstretched in front of her. "I'm Danielle, you can call me Dani, though." Her sweet smile shone through the room along with Ansley's and I hoped that if Ansley and I did get closer, her and Dani would get along. Though, I don't think that'd be a problem, Danielle's a sweet girl.
"Nice to meet you Dani and nice seeing you Niall. And if you two don't mind, I'm going to steal Louis for the night!" She smirked but it wasn't the kind of smirk Niall had earlier, but like a seductive smirk. And it didn't go away as she grabbed my forearm with her free arm and pulled me away. But not before saying, "If you want some drinks they're in the kitchen!" She pointed in the direction of what I was guessing was the kitchen and then Dani and Niall were out of sight as we turned the corner.
I was lead to yet another living room except people weren't dancing in this one. There were people smoking and playing cards and chatting; this was probably one of the most calm areas of the house except for maybe the rooms. But, judging from almost all parties, the rooms probably weren't that calm if you're picking up what I'm putting down.
