L O U I S

"He packed my shit for me." Ansley said, grabbing clothes from her duffel bag and putting it on my bed. She was taking everything out of her bag just to see what her Dad had packed.

After her parents had kicked her out, she obviously cried but only for a little. Maybe about a minute or so. After that, she was pissed. Actually, she was beyond pissed. To say she was furious was even an understatement. When we first arrived at my house, she snapped on Niall. I'd never seen her snap on anyone before so that was a surprise to both Niall and I.

"So they really aren't letting you go back?" I asked.

"Nope." She popped the "p".

"What are you going to do?" I was sitting criss cross on the bed while she stood beside it.

A heavy sigh escaped her lips as she let herself fall forward on the bed. Her face was flat on the mattress while her arms stayed by her sides. "I don't fucking know." She mumbled into the bed.

I'm not really good at giving people advice or cheering someone up when they're upset but I didn't have that problem with Ansley. It feels like I understand her better than I understand anyone else.

After a while of debating whether or not I should share my suggestion, I spoke up. "You could always move in here."

"I mean, I guess, yeah. But moving in with you was going to be my last resort." Even though her voice was muffled because of the way her face was positioned on the bed, I could still tell she was joking yet being serious at the same time.

"No, your last resort was going to be a fucking street corner. My house is nicer than that, you ass."

She laughed at that, rolling over so that her back was flat against the mattress. Her legs were still dangling off the edge of the bed. I looked down at her as she tilted her head back to look up at me. A smile spread across her face causing the same to happen to me.

But just as quick as her smile appeared, it faded. "But I don't want to be a burden to you."

"A burdenAnsley, you wouldn't be a burden! Shit, you living here would lift a weight off my shoulders! You could do my laundry and cook dinner and clean the house and go grocery shopping and-"

"Be your servant?" She interrupted me.

"Exactly!" I smiled, pointing at her with my hand.

"Well in that case," She got up off the bed and grabbed the clothes she'd already taken out of her bag and started putting it back in. "I'd rather go live in on a fucking street corner."

"Oh no you wouldn't," I leaned forward, put my hands on her waist and pulled her onto the all in one swift motion. A squeal fell from her lips as she fell on top of me. Her hands were both flat on the bed beside my head while my hands still rested on her hips. She moved her head down until her lips met mine.

The kiss was short but sweet. She pulled away with a smile on her face as I grinned up at her.

"So I take it Ansley tops?" That damn Irish voice said from the door. Ansley quickly moved from on top of me, her eyes wide. In a failed attempt to fall onto the bed, her body tumbled onto the floor.

"Holy shit," I mumbled, quickly sitting up and moving closer to the edge of the bed.

Niall snorted at her. "Dumb ass."

Her palms were flat on the floor behind her and her bum was also on the floor. "Shut the hell up." She said as I threw my legs off the side of the bed and got off. I moved in front of her and put my arms out, waiting for her to grab my hands so that I could help her up.
