Louis' POV
"You asked her out on a date?" Liam asked leaning forward on the table. We were at IHOP eating breakfast. I was rushing because I needed to get to work on time. Yesterday I was a few hours late since Ansley was over at my house and I got distracted. I would've been fired if I hadn't begged my manager to let me stay and convinced him into letting me work overtime to make up the few hours I missed. I've worked there for five years so I've known James, the manager, for a little while. If I hadn't been working there for that long I would've been fired as soon as I got there.
"Yes. Dear Lord, you guys act like I've never asked a girl on a date before."
"Well the last girl you asked on a date was Hannah so what do you expect?" Niall said and I sighed. I really didn't like them bringing up Hannah but he was right. I should expect them to be surprised; I haven't asked a girl out in about three years.
Anything that's happened between me and another girl after Hannah has just been one night stands.
Danielle's gasp broke me out of my thoughts and I looked up at her. "You should've been there! Eleanor got so mad!"
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"When Niall told me you asked Ansley out, Eleanor was sitting beside me so of course, you know, she heard. And she got pissed. She was all like 'why did he ask her? I don't understand what he likes so much about her'" Dani spoke in a weird voice when she was telling me what Eleanor said.
"And then I was like 'what are you jealous?' and she rolled her eyes and walked away. It was hilarious!" Niall said after Dani.
"You've got two girls after you? Oh." Liam said raising his eyebrows.
"Two girls is nothing. Niall's got like fifty girls after him." I said and Niall rolled his eyes at me.
"You're exaggerating."
"I am not." I got up and started grabbing my trash. "Anyway, I've got to go to work. I'll see you guys later." I threw my trash away in the bin beside our table.
"I think I'll stop by later today." Liam said. "Haven't been in that store in a while."
"Alright, well, see you in a few." I said to Liam then looked at Dani and Niall. "And I'll see you two whenever."
They all said goodbye and I got in my car and left.
The past few days have been extremely slow and uneventful. But it's finally Friday and saying I was excited about mine and Ansley's date tonight was an understatement. I haven't stopped smiling since I woke up.
"Are you picking her up?" Niall asked sitting on my bed. I walked out of the bathroom to my closet.
"No, I'm going to make her walk here 'cause I don't feel like driving all the way to her house."
"That's wrong." He said. I rolled my eyes.
"Shut up, Niall." I grabbed a pair of Vans™ that weren't all torn up from skating and put them on. "How do I look?" I asked walking out of the closet.
"Fucking sexy."
I smiled and went back to the bathroom. After spraying on cologne, I walked to the living room and grabbed my car keys.
"Are you leaving now?" Niall appeared beside me and I nodded. "Have fun. And make sure to kiss her."
"Uh, I don't know if that's going to happen."
"Oh it's going to happen. I know you want it to happen." He pushed me forward towards the front door.
"Are you staying here?"
