A N S L E Y
The week had flown by quickly. It was actually quite uneventful. Thankfully, though, it was somewhat relaxing. I didn't have to worry about coming home to a nagging sister and bossy parents. It was enjoyable coming home to a funny, laid back guy who actually gets me.
Louis and I have a lot in common but one thing we don't have in common is the fact that he has kids. I'm actually kind of scared to meet them. He's picking them up today.
"I want you to come with me." He'd told me before he was leaving.
"I don't think that's a good idea." I'd replied. But to my dismay, he didn't take no for answer. He literally picked me up and put me in the car. I was currently sitting in the passenger seat of his car when we arrived at his ex girlfriends house.
"I think I'm going to stay in the car." I told him as he unbuckled his seatbelt.
"No you're not." He leaned over the center console and unbuckled my seatbelt. Leaning back and getting out of the car, he said, "You're coming inside." As he walked around the front of the car to my side, I put the seatbelt back on and got locked the door. His hand grasped the doorknob and pulled on it but when he noticed it was locked, he stared at me through the window. "Unlock the damn door."
"Nope." I smirked but before I knew it, he opened the door, unbuckled my seatbelt (again) and picked me up.
"What the hell? How?" I said as he threw me over his shoulder. In hit his back with my hands and demanded that he out me down and tell me how he unlocked the door.
"I have the car keys, dumb ass."
"Rude." I said as he walked towards his ex girlfriends front door. He set me down once he got the front porch and I took this as a chance to escape back to the safety and comfort of his car. But to my dismay, before I got to even take a step, he grabbed my wrist and pulled me beside him.
"What are you so afraid of?" He looked down at me.
"I'm not afraid of anything."
He looked at me for a few more seconds before looking at the door and ringing the door bell. His fingers unwrapped from my wrist and intertwined with mine. I instantly relaxed.
But just as quickly as I relaxed, I tensed up. The door had opened and there stood a very pretty blonde. I suddenly felt more insecure than ever before. Looking down, I saw a little girl hiding behind the pretty blonde's leg.
"Daddy!" The little girl yelled when she looked up and saw Louis. She ran from behind the pretty blonde's leg as Louis let go of my hand. He bent down and picked her up as when she approached him. The smile on his face was big and genuine and simply beautiful.
"I missed you baby girl." He said to his beautiful daughter; she looked so much like him.
"I miss you, too, Daddy." She said and looked at him. He looked at her s,filing widely and she pecked his lips. This is probably the cutest thing I've ever seen in my life.
"Where is John?" He asked her.
She simply shrugged and looked at me. "Who are you?" Her little finger pointed at me.
"Bea, where are your manners?" The blonde at the door spoke. I still don't know her name; Louis told me last week but I forgot. I looked back at Louis' daughter and said:
"I'm Ansley."
"You're really pretty." Her voice was high pitched and the pronunciation of her 'R's' sounded like 'w's'.
