Babysitting

"Baby girl, what are you doing?" Grayson text you one night.
"Nothing. Just laying in bed, trying to find something to watch on TV. Why, what's up?" You replied.
"Instead of watching TV, come watch these kids with me." He said.
"Kids? What kids?" You asked.
"My neighbor's kids. I don't wanna sit here by myself with them all night." He said.
"Alright, I'll be over in a bit then." You replied.
"Okay, see you soon. :)" Grayson replied. You got out of bed, got dressed, through together an overnight bag, and made your way over to Grayson's. He only lived a few neighborhoods away, so it only took a few minutes to get there.
You rang the doorbell and immediately heard little kids on the other side.
"Excuse me little man." You heard Grayson's voice on the other side of the door and smiled to yourself. "Hey beautiful." He said when he opened the door.
"Hey baby." You said, kissing him on the cheek.
"Where's the pizza? Did you forget it?" The little boy asked.
"Oh, this isn't the pizza delivery girl." Grayson laughed. "This is my friend, (Y/N)." He added. A little girl walked over from the sofa and smiled up at you.
"Is she your girlfriend?" She asked.
"Ew, no. Boys have cooties." You laughed as you scooped her up into your arms.
"Ouch, I'm hurt." Grayson said sarcastically.
"He's such a drama queen." You said to the little girl, causing her to giggle. She began twisting your hair around her finger.
"You're pretty." She smiled.
"Not as pretty as you sweetheart. What's your name?" You asked.
"Mia." She said shyly.
"That's such a pretty name." You said, causing her smile to grow larger.
"Yep, that's Mia, and this little booger is her brother, Alex." Grayson said as he threw the little boy over his shoulder. You all moved back into the living room and shortly after the pizza came. You served the kids, and then yourselves. You turned on Big Hero 6 to watch while you ate dinner and sat there with the kids while they watched it.
"Wow, they haven't been this still since they were dropped off." Grayson whispered to you.
"The magic of Disney." You laughed. Once the movie ended, Alex jumped onto the sofa and wrapped his arms around Grayson's neck.
"Come on Gray, I wanna play." He said, pulling Grayson down onto the floor with him. Mia climbed into your lap and you both sat there laughing as you watched Grayson and Alex tickle fight and wrestle with each other.
As time passed, and more games were played, Grayson had become a scary monster that had taken over the country that Alex was "almighty protector" of. You and Mia were now queen and princess of this land that Alex had named Alexville, after himself.
"Fine! If I can't have your city, then I'll just take your queen!" Grayson chanted. He picked you up off of the couch, flung you over his shoulder, and ran upstairs.
"Oh no! He took the queen! You have to save her!" Mia cried.
"I'll stop him!" Alex said. He ran up the stairs after Grayson and followed him into his bedroom.
"Alex, save me!" You cried.
"I'm coming, my queen. Let me take care of him first." Alex said as he turned his attention to Grayson.
"Slay the ferocious beast!" You and Mia yelled.
Alex stood on the bed so he could be level with Grayson .
"You'll never take me down!" Grayson said. Alex jumed up on Grayson's shoulders and Grayson fell to the floor.
"Don't be so sure." Alex said as he stood over him with his foam sword. He drew back his sword and jabbed it into Grayson's chest.
"Ahhhhh, no, you got me." Grayson stuttered as he pretended to die.
"You saved us!" You cheered as you took Alex into your arms and hugged him tight.
After cleaning up the toys in Grayson's room, you took the kids back downstairs and put on another movie.
"Can we watch the Spongebob movie?" Mia asked.
"We sure can." Grayson said. He popped in the DVD and you all four got comfortable on the sofa.
"Thanks for coming over. I couldn't have handled them on my own. I would've gone crazy." Grayson said about halfway through the movie as the kids were falling asleep.
"It's all good. It was fun." You smiled as you kissed him on the cheek. After the movie, you laid the kids down on the air mattress in the living room and you and him went up to his room. You both changed into your pajamas and climbed into bed.
"Good night beautiful." Grayson said as he kissed your cheek.
"Good night baby." You smiled. You nuzzled into Grayson's chest and slowly fell asleep.
