Magnus bane isn't magnus bane without setting up the most memorable party of the year: a party filled with downworlders.
Featuring Alec Lightwood.
Alec was sat at his table contemplating life. He loved Magnus. He adored him. He was so fond and so inlove that he let magnus hold the party in their apartment. Meaning Alec himself would also be attending.
Alec was fiddling with his empty glass looking around feeling out of place. He wasn't wrong. He really did feel out of place. Many downworlders have already passed him and scowled at him or glared even. They all knew magnus though, and they all knew how much he loved his shadowhunter so they didn't bother much.
A commotion was heard as Magnus waltzed through the room "making it rain" using glitter.
Alec watched him fondly shaking his head. He watched magnus bow and then greet many other downworlders that Alec wasn't familiar with.
Magnus then bounced over to Alec and planted a sloppy kiss on his forehead. Alec jumped in surprise but quickly wrapped his arms around Magnus's waist.
"Darling why are you being so introverted?" Magnus asked unwrapping Alec's arms from him and sitting down beside him.
"Magnus when am I not introverted in these types of parties. I am the only shadowhunter here."
"And the only hot one here might I add. Second to me at least. These downworlders." Magnus shuddered. "Disgrace on their looks."
Alec reached out and grabbed Magnus's hand and held it in his lap. "Magnus then why are they all here if you don't like them."
"Oh it's not that I don't like them Alexander I don't like their looks. No one can meet up to your standards anyways." Magnus said smirking at Alec causing him to blush.
"Magnus Bane?" Said a flirty girl voice. Alec looked up annoyed and saw a tall skinny woman. She had bright blue eyes and blonde wavy hair that had been pulled into a bun with curly pieces hanging out shaping the outline of her face. She was wearing a short tight black dress.
"Dahlia!" Magnus exclaimed and yanked his hand from Alec jumping up and hugging "Dahlia".
Alec looked disgusted and raised his eyebrow tapping his foot.
Dahlia hugged Magnus. "Oh magnus, I've missed you so much. Once I heard you were having a party I immediately had to come!"
Alec was disturbed by the fact that they were still hugging.
Magnus has his arms around her making Alec gag. "I know darling I was hoping you'd make it!" Magnus said pulling away.
Darling??? Alec is Magnus's darling. Only Alec gets to be called darling by Magnus.
Alec cleared his throat.
"Oh" Dahlia said covering her mouth laughing. "Looks like we have a visitor."
Alec raised both his eyebrows now. "A what?"
"Oh Dahlia uh this is my husband, Alexander Lightwood." Magnus said not taking his eyes off of Dahlia.
Dahlia scowled at Alec. "Pleasure to meet you."
"Can't say the same to you." Alec muttered receiving a slap on the shoulder from Magnus.
Alec looked hurt. He heard that but didn't see the look dahlia gave him?
Dahlia then let out a girly squeal and grabbed Magnus's hand. "Mags could you come with me? Do you remember Alejandro the stripper dude at our party last century?"
