Everything was dark... But seconds later a glow of white light takes over, eventually showing me a scene. A scene played by a body with a girl crying into it... woah wait a second, that body's me. I walk up to it, everything was hazy and really bright but I could see me. I'm.. dead? The girl, it's Raven. She's crying into my chest but she stands up and puts a bandage of mine over her eyes, um.. can she see? She lets out a sniffle, "bombing? Jayviel... I'll avenge you and use your sacrifice as the key to win this war... I'll avenge you, just you wait.. I'll never forget you.. I never will" she growls in between sobs, she looks down at me for a last time before running off. I watch her off, I go to chase after her but next thing I know I feel the pain all over again in my chest. It's burning, I cry out as I fall back into darkness. I can feel myself falling but it's hardly noticeable from the pounding in my head, the burning of my chest and aching everywhere else. Sparks of gold swarm around me that beam a glow, It distracts me from what's going on but I once again black out...

"Arghh.." I clutch my head opening my eyes to a sideways vision, I furrow my eyebrows as I sit up and observe my surroundings. "Where am I?" I mutter to myself as I stand up. I'm on a translucent gold platform in a dark room filled with a purple stained fog. I cough as I walk out, finally it clicks. I go to feel my chest after remembering the arrow- "owww!" I grunt again as my head pounds after thinking of.. no I'm not gonna again. I start walking out to see an empty room with torn walls of grey stone brick. I look around, where's raven?... WAIT WOAH WHERE AM I. I leave the room to try and find where I am, I didn't die... did I? I walk out but I'm greeted by a tall slender woman with long flowing white hair and bright red eyes, she smiles at me "Welcome to the underworld, Jay" her voice is clear and smooth. I look at her confused with a hint of shock, "the underworld?... so I really did die" I mutter to myself at the ground. "Do not worry child, you can get comfortable in this place" she tries to comfort me- although it really isn't helping. I give her a weak smile and nod, i guess I'll have to see what this place will offer me...

I walk out of a huge building, it has multiple floors with different spawn points. But from what I saw on the map it's only one of the multiple of these buildings. I wonder how big this place would have to be to fill in heaps of dead people... I walk onto the gravel streets, the air was filled with fog that would hang low around your ankles to high above your head. It was troublesome to walk through because it didn't give you a long distance view, so I have no idea if I were to run into anything ahead of me. I move over to the side of the road to see if anything's on the side, I notice small shacks and buildings so I walk over to one. 'Barber shop' not useful, so I move onto the next. 'Tailor'? I look down at my clothes, they were torn and full of blood and mud but would I really need to dress super fancy in a place full of dead people? I wouldn't be surprised if I saw a person drenched in blood with visible bones- oh gosh that sounds terrible... I kinda DONT wanna see that. I stare into the tinted glass but later notice my reflection, I stare at it horrified... That seriously can't be me. My hair, it's not as dark as it used to be it's a whole lot lighter. I look down at my hands, I'm also not tan anymore, it's a faded pale colour. I scrunch my nose look at my hands, it's full of cuts, blood, stitches and mud. I look back up at the glass, my eyes. My eyes widen as I stumble back falling into a dirty puddle, I sit there for a couple of seconds to catch my breath. Why are my eyes a really creepy red colour? It's terrifying, red isn't a common eye colour. If you did it was a sign of evil although some people who occasionally get it caused by a gene mutation. But no way, my eyes were a dark brown how could they turn into such a bright red? I stand back up, I remember the woman who greeted me, her eyes were the exact same.

I walk into the tailor building, it had the same wall layout as the spawn building but a whole lot nicer and maintained. It had tabłes of material and sewing equipment, I look around to see a huge spinning Jenny  towards the back. There's no one here- "AH! GOOD EVENING SIR! Can I interest you In anything on this fine day?" A man comes running at me, he has black tights, brown polished shoes, a puffy white blouse and a brown leather vest also with long grey brown hair which is tied at the back with the exact same red eyes. I stare at him in surprise "oh good evening.." I reply quietly looking around. I look back at him, to notice he's looking me up and down, "soldier boy I assume?" He sits his hands on his hips "a tad young aye?". I let out a soft chuckle "yeah I guess so.." I smile weakly. He perks up in an upright position "I'm guessing you won't exactly have much to pay for a new set aye? What if I offer you a greeting pair? On the house!" He chirps as he hurried back to his table, "are you sure, sir?" I ask following him, slowly. He runs back at me with a tape measure and starts measuring me, from my arm, around my chest and down my leg. "If I weren't sure I wouldn't be offering, boy" He says as he slides the tape across me, I nod "got me there.." He stands upright once again wrapping the tape around his hand as he walks off "follow me" his voice fades as he walks into a seperate room. I raise an eyebrow as I follow along, I was gonna think he would try to kill me back here... but what dead man can die again? I'm not used to this whole 'ghost' thing. I slowly follow him but he runs back out out the room with multiple colours and materials, "pick out what you'd like and I'll prepare it for you... although I can't promise you it'll be done before tomorrow" I nod to his explanation. I pick out what I like and hand it back to him, no idea what'll look like but I'll take it. He nods as he takes it out of my hands "come back here tomorrow afternoon and I'll be ready!" He says hurrying off before I get to say anything. Well... that was something, but my concern is what do I do next? Not to mention, where am I staying? I walk out of the building back onto the streets, I guess I'll be left with my muddy and bloody jumpsuit with a black leather belt that wrapped around which is also torn up like the rest of me and my clothes. My boots were also the same except they were in better condition.

I walk along the path as it starts to get darker, it was already dark to begin with but it only gets darker. So all there was to see was the lights reflection in the fog which were lit up by tall street lamps. I place my hands in my pockets, I don't want to see them, they only remind me of the wars and everyone I left behind. I failed my mission... I promised Raven I wouldn't screw up, now look at me, I failed her and broke my promise. Not to mention my father, he raised me to be a perfect soldier, he's the head chief. He didn't take me in and raise me under his wing only to see me fail. I can't just go back, so I have nothing but to try and forget everything, I don't know what good it would do me if I ponder thinking about it all. Suddenly my thoughts become hard to concentrate on from the noise of steps, clinking of chains and boots become louder as they echos the streets. I look around trying to see where it's coming from, but next thing ya know I run into something causing me to drop. "Ow-" I look up to see red glowing eyes looking down at me, I look back down horrified, boots with thin chains. Oh. I look back up to see a hand in front of me, "sorry, boy" the voice sounds deep but has an accent to it. He held out his hand to offer help me up so I take the offer and stand up. I dust off myself and look back up at him, he was tall and slender as well but he has neat light brown hair with a scarred face with the exact same red eyes. I guess every ghost has these eyes? "The names Aiden, are you new here?" He introduces himself with a half smile, "Yeah, yeah I am. I'm sorry to of run into you, I'm Jay" I answer him. "Welcome, Jay. The underworld isn't all bad... but let me help you settle in" he offers with a smile. I really have no where else to be... I guess I should take his offer, he's kind enough to. "Sure"
