IT TOOK A LOT OF CONVINCING TO BE ALLOWED TO HEAD FOR LONDON EARLY. There were still two weeks left until term would start, but the receiving of her Hogwarts letter almost drove her to insanity—especially the thought of staying at camp for much longer. Sure, nothing could ever replace Camp Half-Blood as a home, and yes, as much as it may seem unlikely, she dearly loved the place, but Hogwarts was something new and completely different, where she didn't even have to be wary about monsters hunting for her blood.

Ari and Angel still accompanied her, and as much as they were pains (in a way) to Erin, she was relieved. She only had just turned twelve, after all, and she knew she wasn't independent enough to travel. Plus, the fancy hotel with fancy food was something she couldn't lose just her.

The three had settled in their suite, resting after their flight, with the two older girls watching TV while Erin huddled up in ybe corner, writing to Zach.

"It's so weird," Ari spoke out of the blue.

"What?" Angel asked, her eyes focused on the catfight that was currently taking place on the reality TV show they were watching.

"You do realize that throughout the whole thing with this and last year, not a single monster had been hunting us for breakfast."

"Yeah, now that I think abou—No. Don't.", Angel wrinkled her nose. "Don't bring it up again. We can't afford to jinx it."

"What about you, Erin?", Ari asked, disregarding Angel's statement. "Encountered any thing at that school of yours?"

"Huh? Uh, no...nothing, I guess," Erin replied absentmindedly, still writing.

"Shame that most of us have dyslexia. It would be way cooler and aesthetically pleasing than scouring around to make a rainbow for an IM." Angel commented.

"Nah, IMs are way better than waiting weeks for a reply."

"Yep, way less risk of getting unwanted unsuspected dick pics."

Professor Neville Longbottom arrived by afternoon, and of course, when a good-looking person is within their presence, it is nothing but normal for Angel and Ari to start tripping over themselves just to get a chance to be noticed by the man. Erin couldn't bring herself to blame them, she would have done the same if it weren't for the fact that he was the teacher of her favorite subject.

"Ah yes, tea would definitely be lovely, err..."

"Arianne." Ari smiled, and dragged herself and her best friend towards the kitchen.

"You don't even know how to make tea." Angel whispered in her ear.

"Exactly, which is why you're making it." Ari hissed back.

"Unbelievable." Erin thought out loud.

"How's your summer, Erin?" Professor Longbottom asked.

"Want to see what I've been working on?" she offered, to which Professor Longbottom nodded in reply.

Excitedly, Erin got up and ran towards her room and came back carrying a small plant in a pot.

"I've been practicing whenever I get free time back at camp and I would like to say that I'd improved."

"Care to elaborate?"

"This is an apple bonsai tree," she gestured towards the plant, "it isn't full developed but I cab speed up its growth to the point of it actually producing a full-sized pink lady apple without a wand but just my own, uhh...godly inheritance."
