A loud clap of thunder mixed in with a long, treacherous day filled with classes, test after test, and too many coffees to count, Yoongi finally found himself closing the door to his dorm.

Shedding his coat and bag, he couldn't help but to jump at the bright light that invaded his world, and the humorous drum that followed not a second later. He sighed in aggravation, "No way in hell am I going to be able to sleep tonight with this storm. Great."

Yoongi noted how lucky he was to have a small kitchen area in his two person dorm, walking over to the fridge he noticed, "Hey Jin! We're out of banana milk again tell that Jungkook he owes us like 50 of them at this point!" deciding on some water he walked over to his bunk bed, another blinding light and thunderous roar filling the room as he noticed, there was someone curled up in his bed.

"Jin? Why are you in my bed go over to Namjoons dorm and do that!" Yoongi spoke in a frustrated voice, "Come on you can't just-" but the boy stopped dead in his tracks as the next wave of lighting that illuminated the boy curled up in his bed, shaking more by the thunders clap, "S-Seok seok...?"

Yoongi felt his heart constrict, not wasting a moment before sitting on the bed, a hand on the boys shoulder and the other cupping his face, bringing the youngers eyes to meet Yoongi's, there was fear dripping on the rims of his eyes, he was cold and shaking against Yoongi's hold, "Seok seok...what happened? What's wrong-"

Before Yoongi could even finish that thought another round of lightning and thunder came crashing into their little world, and Hoseok was shaking even more now, Yoongi felt Hoseok press his cheek into Yoongi's palm. And the older felt his own eyes fill with an ocean of hurt, he wanted nothing more than to take the pain from the younger, to, at the very least, share it.

"Seok seok, you're afraid of storms aren't you?" He whispered in a quiet voice, as soothing as he could muster as he covered the younger in blankets, slipping under them himself, "H-hyung I'm sorry...I'm sorry you don't have too-"

Another deafening roar and bright light flooded them as Hoseok jumped, jumped straight into Yoongi, arms latched around his middle and breathing rapidly into the fabric of the olders chest. And Yoongi, he held him back just as tight, with just as much might, a hand laced around the youngers middle, and the other tangled in Hoseok's messy hair.

They stayed like that for a while, neither moving and Yoongi holding Hoseok close, holding him steady with Yoongi's arms as the youngers anchor. But before long the invading thunder and bright lightning became fewer, with more time in between each strike, until the only sound that sang to the two was the rains soft melody, lightly pattering against the dorms window.

"Thank you, hyung" Hoseok mumbled into the olders chest, clearly exhausted.

Yoongi just played with the youngers hair as he whispered in a playful tone, "I didn't make the storm stop Seok seok."

But Hoseok nuzzled further into the olders chest, arms and legs a tangled mess as he tiredly whispered, "You did more than just that, Yoongi hyung."

There was something that bloomed in Yoongi's chest, something that just, felt right. And he smiled, feeling so at ease with Hoseok in his arms as he felt the youngers breathing deepen. Yoongi pressed gentle lips to Hoseok's forehead, whisper lighter than the rain that pattered softly outside, "Seok seok, the morning sun will bring with it the flowers and the light, it will bring with it your smile. But tonight, tonight the moons rain can offer a quiet shelter that will let us rest, and grow, before the sun comes."
