Chapter II Strike from above

    The next day when I woke up my head was still throbbing and when I tried to get up I felt something holding me back when I looked down at my arms I saw restraints around my wrists and my legs. "What the... What happened? Where am I?" I asked then I heard the door open and saw Annabeth and Percy come in and I saw cuts on their arms "Did I hurt you two?" I asked and when they saw that I was awake they removed the restraints from my wrists and legs and I sat up "Here drink this it'll help with the pain." Annabeth said and she handed me a cup with some kind of liquid in it "What is it?" I asked and Annabeth said that it was nectar the drink of the gods and that it would help ease the pain in my head so I took a sip of it and my taste buds were covered with a sweet taste of nectar. "That's really sweet. But at least my headache is gone. What happened?" I asked then they told me that Hera took over my mind and said something that neither of them understood. "Let me guess 'Beware the new group of evil. And save those closest to you.' Is that it?" I asked and by the looks on their faces I knew that was a yes. "How did you know that, CJ?" Percy asked me and I told them that I knew what those lines meant "They are part of a story that was passed down from father to son on my earth and the rest of it goes 'A promise to keep with those you cherish and a battle to win against impossible numbers.' That last part means that those who mean a lot to you need to have each other's backs against an endless wave of enemies who wish to do us harm. It's sort of like a prophecy on your earth except it doesn't rhyme at all and makes a little more sense than those that your Oracle gives you guys." I said. Then I heard something in the air heading their way "We got company coming by air and it feels like a half-blood by the name of Jason Grace. Wait isn't he the guy who was a part of that prophecy of seven including you two as well as a few others?" I asked and Percy nodded his head "Well he and Piper are on their way here but their being followed by a scrawny kid with blond hair and a teddy bear attached to his belt." I said then Percy said "Octavian." So before they left the room I opened a window and before they could stop me I changed into my Werewolf Ghost Rider form with flaming wings as well and took off to help Jason and Piper. "You'll regret turning to those Greeks for help Jason Grace." Octavian yelled and Jason and Piper were riding Tempest to Camp Half-Blood "You don't get it Octavian Juno said that both Piper and I needed to go there." Jason said in return then he saw something flying towards them and it looked like it was on fire "Jason, Piper get going I'll hold off Octavian." I said in their heads and Jason listened and went past me "What was that thing Jason?" asked Piper and Jason replied to her "I don't know but if he doesn't like Octavian then he's okay in my book." And when he looked back he saw a fiery explosion in the air and Octavian retreating back to New Rome. "That takes care of that." I said half exhausted and when I started back to the camp I started to change back to normal then I lost the wind in my fiery wings and fell to the ground "Jason we got to help him." Piper said but then they saw that I crashed into the ground right outside the Big House and when they got to ground level and saw that I was in a hole in the ground they were shocked to see me still alive "Man that hurt. I'm definitely going to feel that later today." I said and I turned and saw Jason and Piper looking at me in shock and confusion "Hey guys um welcome back." I said with a painful grin on my face and then Percy and Annabeth came out as well as the kid who gave me the sonic disruptors the other day. "Hey Piper, Jason been awhile." said the kid and Piper ran and gave the kid a hug "Leo it's so good to see you again." Piper said and Jason gave Leo a fist bump and said "It's great to see you again buddy. And who the heck is that guys and how is he not dead?" asked Jason and I got up and brushed off the dirt from my suit and went to Jason "My names CJ and I'm not dead because I am very hard to kill because of my healing factor and my adamantium skeleton that's laced with vibranium as well so I can absorb the impact shock and survive from that kind of fall." I said then my legs gave out and Percy caught me and helped me back up "You sure you're ok CJ?" he asked and I nodded and Annabeth came back out with some nectar for me to drink "Thanks Annabeth." I said and gulped down the nectar and even though Annabeth warned me about drinking too much of it because it would kill me but since I had a healing factor I didn't die at all. "So let me guess you two are here because of Hera or as Jason calls her Juno is that right?" I asked and Jason nodded and asked "How did you know that?" and I told him that Hera took over my mind yesterday and said part of a story that was passed down to me by my father and explained what it meant to them. "Okay so we have a new quest given to us by Hera again like last time except this time no one had their memories taken." Leo said and I was about to nod my head yes when an explosion erupted right behind me and when I looked up I saw my greatest enemy Blackhawk the meta who was always trying to kill me "Great it's Blackhawk. Just when I was starting to explain to my new friends about the story. Agh. Man my head is still pounding." I said then I saw Blackhawk land right in front of me "Ha. You think you're so tough don't you Flash. But here's a news flash for you I'm the new tough guy now and there's nothing that you can..." I swept my leg under him before he finished and I drew out my claws and pressed them lightly against his throat "What are you doing here Jack I thought we were friends back on our earth what happened to that trust we had for so long?" I asked and then Blackhawk evaporated and reappeared in the air right above the Big House and he grabbed someone as well "Piper!" screamed Jason then anger surged through my body and I began to change again but this time the flames were green instead of orange and red. "Blackhawk release the girl now your quarrel's with me not these half-bloods." I said in a monstrous voice and when Leo, Jason, Percy, and Annabeth saw me they freaked out "Oh my gods what the heck happened to CJ?" yelled Percy and I flew up to Blackhawk and when Piper saw me she freaked out as well "So you've gotten more power over the years let's see how well you can use them. Try to stop me or save this little girl your choice Flash." Blackhawk said then he went higher into the air and at twenty thousand feet he let go of Piper and she began to fall at a rapid pace and Jason was trying to get to her but for some reason Blackhawk had brought along some furies from the Underworld and they were really glad to keep Jason from saving his girlfriend Piper. "Keep them busy I'll get Piper and bring her to ground level." I said in Jason's head and he saw me dart straight down after Piper. When Piper was at ten thousand feet and dropping fast she went unconscious and didn't even see me grab her and take her to the ground safely "Percy give Piper some of that nectar and ambrosia to help her I got to take care of Blackhawk once and for all." I said and I took off again and went so fast that Blackhawk didn't see me come up behind him and drove my claws into his back and into his heart. "Now you die Blackhawk. And rot in Hell for all eternity." I said and Blackhawk went limp and his eyes rolled up and he was dead then I heard the furies still pounding against Jason's sword and shield and I went over to them and with a touch of my hands they turned to golden dust and Jason commanded the wind to take him back to the ground and I followed him. Once Jason and I reached the ground Jason went to see how Piper was doing and I changed back to my normal look "Man that took a lot out of me." I said in my normal voice and I saw Grover come over to me and he handed me a glass of nectar "Thanks." I said and I took a small sip of the nectar and since I could heal faster than normal the burning sensation went away from my throat and body and I was reenergized and I felt a little tired at the same time. "Piper's going to be okay Jason. Don't worry." Percy said trying to calm Jason down from a near loss of his girlfriend but thanks to me that didn't happen. Then Jason walked over to me and said "Thanks for saving my girlfriend CJ." I told him it was no problem and I thought about my girlfriend and hoped she was alright. "Hey you alright CJ?" asked Jason and I lied and said "I'm fine Jason. Just thinking about some stuff that's all." I said and he realized that I was holding something back but he didn't press any further then Annabeth came over and said that Piper was resting well then my head started to hurt again "Not again. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGHHHHHH!" I roared and Hera's voice talked through my mouth and said "Beware those who do evil, for those will surely be kindled." Then my head was mine again and when I came to everyone was looking at me in shock and confusion "Hera spoke a prophecy although it sounded incomplete but those lines seem familiar for some reason." Annabeth said then she left to think about where she heard the two lines from. "Hey I don't feel too good right now I think I'll go get some rest." I said and I teleported to a pine tree on the top of Half-Blood Hill and sat down under the shade of the tree then a dragon materialized in front of me but I growled and it let me stay there because it understood what I said so it disappeared again and made a flapping noise as if it was flying away and landed on a branch of the pine tree. My dream started out nice enough I was at a picnic with Katelyn and our friends and we were having a blast then the dream changed into a nightmare where a giant took Katelyn and knocked out my friends and me out cold then when I woke up in a puddle of my own sweat I realized that the Hellfire and Angle fire that's inside of me was starting to rise to the point of explosion and transformation as well at the same time. When I heard the dining pavilion bell ring I knew that it must have been lunchtime because all the campers were headed to get some lunch from the magical plates that they have and drinks from the magical goblets as well and when I arrived everyone tensed and when I got a magic plate and goblet I went to the bench and ordered chicken teriyaki with rice and a Dr. Pepper from the goblet and sure enough the plate and goblet did what they were made to do. "...Did you see what that guy did to those Kindly Ones?" asked a camper at the Hermes table then a camper at the Ares table said "That's the kind of fire power dad was always talking about with Zeus and the other Olympians as well..." and the campers continued talking about me then I became so angry that I threw one of my knifes at the target that was hundred yards away and the campers were all shocked that I could make such a shot and still get a bulls-eye "How did he do that? He wasn't even looking at the target. And where did that knife come from?" said a camper at the Athena table then Annabeth looked at her siblings and they went back to their lunch and Percy walked towards me with Annabeth and they saw the angry look on my face and they knew that I wasn't in a good mood at the moment. "Hey that was a great throw CJ." Percy said trying to get my spirit up but that just made it worse and instead of one knife being thrown I threw ten and they all landed in the bulls-eye target and Percy looked at Annabeth and she stepped in "CJ is there something wrong?" she asked and when I looked up at them they saw tears rolling down my cheeks and they realized that I was really not in a good mood "I keep thinking about my girlfriend Katelyn and how much it burns me up that I haven't found her yet. I've been searching for a while now and still no sign of her." I said in a much less confident voice than they were used to hear from me. "I'm sorry guys I just can't talk about it right now." I said again then I teleported to the target and grabbed my knives and went to the lake to think for a while. "I can't believe that CJ is trying to do all he can to help us and try to find his girlfriend at the same time. How can anyone bare that much weight?" asked Annabeth that's when a glowing light shimmered into focused from the lake from where I was and Percy and Annabeth went to see what was going on. I was so angry that my Werewolf Ghost Rider form took over and I was destroying the practice dummies and when Percy and Annabeth saw me, my anger left me and when I came to I changed back to normal and I was so tired that I fell to my knees from being in my Werewolf Ghost Rider form for so long and being angry while in that form. "Hey... Guys... sorry about... the dummies... I j... just needed t. t. to..." my voice trailed off and I collapsed from exhaustion and overheating from the Hellfire and Angle fire inside of me. When I woke up I was in a infirmary and I felt an ice pack on my head and when I tried to move a wind spirit appeared out of nowhere and told me not to move too much so I listened to her and then Percy and Annabeth came in and saw me awake and looked worried for some reason. "Hey guys sorry again about the dummies by the lake I'll help make new ones." I said and I tried to smile but I was in too much pain and even though I was healing I still felt a lot of pain. "CJ your awake that's great." Annabeth said finally breaking an uncomfortable silence and then I sat up and I thought I heard a voice in my head say 'Help me.' And then it was gone at first I thought it was Katelyn trying to mind speak with me but the voice was gone just as soon as it came "Hey CJ you alright?" asked Percy then I told them that I heard a voice in my head saying help me. After that I felt a cold sensation rolling down my back then I had a vision of a snowy mountain and my girlfriend frozen in a block of ice and sitting next to her was a girl whose features were as cold as ice. Then the girl spoke in a French accent "Soon those heroes will come here to try to free you from my clutches and take you back to their pitiful camp. But they have no idea what awaits them when they arrive." and when I looked down the mountain side I saw an army of snowy monsters. Then I was back in my own body and when I opened my eyes I saw Percy and Annabeth looking at me "Now he's awake." Annabeth said and when I sat up my head started to throb but thanks to my healing factor it went away "How long was I out?" I asked and Percy told me that I was asleep for at least thirty minutes at most and when I told them about the snowy mountain and the snowy girl and the army of snow monsters they looked at each other and went to tell Chiron that I was awake now. When they came back I was in my super suit and I was about to leave when Chiron said "Do you really think you can take on that snow goddesses alone CJ?" and I stopped in my tracks and I looked at my new friends and I knew that I was going to need their help to save my girlfriend. "Not unless my new friends come along and help me out." I said in response and Chiron was pleased with my answer and told me to use the Argo II that was docked at the lake and to take as many friends that I needed to help me "Thanks Chiron. Come on you two lets go get the others and head for the snowy mountain." I said and we rushed off and while Percy and Annabeth got Leo Valdez, Hazel Levesque, Frank Zhang, Piper McLean, Jason Grace and a few other demigods as well, I was looking at a picture that showed me with Katelyn in our super suits "Hang on Katelyn I'm coming to get you back. And I'm bringing some friends to help." I said to myself and then I heard Jason walking towards me and I put the picture back in my coat pocket. "Hey CJ you ready?" he asked and I got up and got my bike and said "Hell yeah. Let's get going." I said and Jason led me to the Argo II and I was amazed at the craftsmanship that these demigods put into its build. "All aboard the Argo II." Leo said over the ships intercom "Next stop the great snowy mountain." Leo finished and when I put my bike in the Pegasi room and took out some tools the ships engine started up and for some reason the entire ship was rising out of the lake "Wait this thing flies?" I asked and Percy nodded his head then I got an idea "I think I can use my Hellfire and Angle fire to make this ship go faster." I said and when Percy said that Leo wouldn't like it but when Leo came over after hearing what I said he said "Alright let's see what kind of horsepower your fire can give my ship." And Leo led me to the engine room and when he closed the door behind him I changed into my Ghost Rider form which freaked Leo out a little bit "Don't worry my flames won't harm you or anyone on this ship unless they are hiding a sin deep within them." I said and when I placed my flaming skeleton hands on the engine and immediately the entire ship began to change and then we were speeding our way to our destination. "Now that's horsepower." Leo said and when he saw the strain it was putting on me he tried to pull me away but I said "Don't Leo if you take my hands off the engine there's a possibility that the entire ship will explode." so I carefully and slowly took my hands of the engine and I changed into my Angle Rider form and blue flames erupted from the engine and it felt like we just passed light speed and were getting closer to the snowy mountain. "Man now that's cool... Or um hot." Leo corrected himself and he led me to the dining lounge and when I entered the room all talking about battle tactics and strategies stopped and Frank looked really freaked out then Percy said "Well now then Frank, Hazel this is CJ in his Angle Rider form apparently which would explain why we're going so fast all of a sudden. So Leo, CJ we were just going over the plan when we get to the snowy mountain." Then I sensed we were near our destination so I changed back to my normal look and the entire ship returned to normal as well. "We're almost there. And here's my plan take out all of those monsters and deal with that snow goddesses who has my girlfriend frozen in ice." I said and then an explosion rocked the entire ship and before everyone else could recover and get to the main deck I was already there fighting some weird pigeons who had bronze beaks and ruby red eyes then when I was so angry I changed into my Werewolf Angle Rider form and incinerated all of the demon birds with a single twirl of my enchanted chain. "Rot in Hell demons." I said then I grew my wings out and went down to the snowy mountain but when I got to the top my girlfriend wasn't in the ice block it was a shape-shifting meta who I saved back on my earth ten months ago "NOOOOOOO!" I roared and when the others found me I was unfreezing the girl shape-shifting meta from her icy prison then I changed back to normal and carried the girl back to the ship and before I could set her on the deck the snowy monsters came running towards me and my friends. My friends drew their weapons but I told them to leave it to me "The only way for these monsters to die is if I become a monster myself and send them to Hell. Leo, you take Samantha back to the ship and I'll keep those demon birds away as long as I can. I'll make sure that they won't follow." I said and they did what I said but Hazel, Piper, and Annabeth didn't like the idea of me taking on an entire army by myself but then my anger grew and I began to turn green and hairier as well then I went into my Angle Rider form and my super monster form was revealed. The demigods saw my ultimate form and when I jumped down the mountain side and started killing monsters so fast that they didn't even see me because of how fast I was going. "So that... Um... Happened." said a shaken Annabeth then when Percy shook her out of her daze and they both got on the Argo II they saw that all the snow monsters were gone and that I was flying towards the ship. Then I started to change back to normal I willed myself to use my meta-human speed to get me to the ship before I changed back to normal. I crashed into a bronze mast and I crumpled to the ground and even though I was healing it still hurt a lot. "Okay. I felt that one." I said in a hoarse voice and when I tried to get up my legs buckled under the weight and I fell back down and I couldn't believe how much energy I used to stay in control of my ultimate form "CJ you ok?" asked Percy then when he tried to help me up somehow I shocked him and sent him flying towards the same mast that I crashed into. "Sorry about... That man. I don't feel too good." I said then I passed out cold and then all the electrical energy left my body and I was in a sort of nightmarish vision. I saw that all my friends were being crushed and my girlfriend was chained to a boulder and I was chained next to her I tried to speak but something was covering my mouth and then I saw a man at least I thought it was a man but as he got closer I saw a young man dressed in a black t-shirt with a skull on it and a black sword sheathed and attached to his belt as well as a skull ring on his left ring finger. Then I woke up to the sound of people laughing and the smell of food in the air as well. When I got to the dining lounge and saw Samantha in one of her shape-shift forms and that my friends were laughing at her jokes as she mimicked one of my enemies from our earth. "Hey guys did we get back to Camp Half-Blood yet?" I asked then when they saw me they all got up and Percy came over and told me that I was out cold for three days. "That long huh. Usually when I try to stay in control of my ultimate form it's a month or two but that's good news." I said then I told everyone about my ultimate form and the stress it puts on my mind and my body which is why I need to rest for as long as possible to restore my energy. After that I got some bacon and eggs and some coffee as well and ate in silence as the others recalled the events from three days ago and the events after that while I was out cold.
