Chapter VIII CJ saves his friend from death

The next morning was really nice and for the moment there weren't any attacks on the camp which only made me more tense and alert. When I got my breakfast I went back to my cabin and gave Holly her food and I was still happy that I was able to save her from the poachers and now when I save my girlfriend both me and Katelyn will have a dog to take care of. While I was thinking about Katelyn I didn't notice Jamie come into my cabin then I heard her clear her throat and I turned and saw her standing there "Can I help you Jamie?" I asked and she was looking pretty flustered about seeing me as my doppelganger Max who looks exactly like me "Um. I was wondering if you could help me with something." Jamie said. I looked at her and said "What do you need help with?" then she took out an old combat sword and shield from behind her and I saw that she tried to fix them "Why do you want my help? Why not ask Leo he's the son of Hephaestus as are his brothers and sisters. They could fix up those things in no time." I said then I saw her face and I realized that she was trying to keep something hidden "I'll see what I can do. But you have to tell me what's so important about them that you would come to me instead of the Hephaestus kids." I said and Jamie agreed. I took the sword and shield and saw that they were not in such bad condition than I thought they were "You've been taking very good care of these things haven't you?" I asked and Jamie nodded her head then I used my fire to heat up the metal when I felt a sudden weakness in my powers "That's strange my powers don't seem to be working right on this thing. Wait this is imperial gold. Where'd you get this?" I asked and Jamie told me that she was given those from her father and told her that they were very special. "No wonder I can't use enough fire to fix these things. There enchanted." I said and then I opened the furnace in the shed and amped up the heat then took out the sword and shield and hammered out the dents and air bubbles out of the metal then I used my ice powers to cool off the metal and then I was done "There you go. One golden sword and one golden shield all fixed up." I said and I handed them to Jamie who was grateful to me for fixing her sword and shield. Later that day I was sitting on the dock of the lake with my guitar playing a song that I've been working on for some time "When Rome's in ruins, we are the lions, Free of the coliseums. In poisoned places, we are anti-venom; we're the beginning of the end..." I sung what felt like ten minutes when I realized that there were demigods behind me which startled me and I teleported to my cabin and then I was embarrassed about doing so. So I went to the dock and found that Percy and Annabeth were the only ones there now, when they saw me I walked up to them and asked "How much did they hear?" and Percy said that they heard the whole thing "I got to say CJ you continue to surprise us. And I had no idea that you could sing like that." Annabeth said then I heard my doppelganger singing his songs and I saw him with Jamie which reminded me of Katelyn. I must have been distracted so long that Percy used his powers to spray me with lake water "Seriously dude." I said with my clothes all wet and my hair plastered to my face, Percy had a smirk on his face and Annabeth had a half smile and was trying not to laugh "Very funny Percy. FLAME ON!" I shouted and I was covered in flames that dried my clothes off and my hair as well than the flames died and I was dry again. "I haven't had to use that power in a long time. Least it still works." I said and I saw that Percy and Annabeth were still smiling and I sighed and used another one of my powers to have the water soak them "And that's how it's done on my earth Percy Jackson." I said with a laugh and Percy and Annabeth were glad to see me laughing now "Man I haven't laughed like that in years. Ha, ha, ha." I said and when I was catching my breath I failed to sense the Stoll brothers sneak up on me and pour ice water on me which didn't make me laugh at all "THAT"S IT YOU TWO!" I shouted and I teleported behind them and grabbed them and made them see each other as clowns "Hey bro you look like a clown." Kevin said and his brother said the same thing then I threw them into the lake and that's when they were snapped back to reality then Percy and Annabeth broke out laughing "That's what you two get for pouring ice cold water on a superhero guys." Percy said while he willed the water to take the Stoll brothers to the shore. While the Stoll brothers dried off from their unexpected swim I was walking back to my cabin when Percy said "Hey CJ. Why don't you have a sparring match against me with that sword of yours?" I looked back and saw that he was serious "Sure why not." I said then I teleported the three of us to the arena and I had my sword in my hand and Percy uncapped his pen and it extended into a full size Celestial Bronze sword. "Ready?" Percy asked and I nodded then Annabeth went to the bench and was in disbelief that her boyfriend was sparring with me "Ready when you are Percy." I said then we started our sparring match with each strike that Percy made I countered with my sword and whenever he cut me I just healed right up "Nice one Percy. If I didn't have a healing factor I would be dead by now." I said then I teleported behind him and he swung behind his back and his sword only made contact with my metal body "How'd you do that?" he asked. I told him that I could change into any material that I can think of that is within reason "Now that would come in handy." Percy said and Annabeth was stunned to see me in a metal state then I changed back and just when I was about to strike Percy with the hilt of my sword a monster came out of a mirror and a dozen more followed. "Not these guys again." I said then I turned to Percy and he got the same idea "Live training session." Percy said then I held out my advent deck and said "Kamen Rider." I was then transformed into my Kamen Rider form "Kamen Rider Werewolf Knight." I said and I pulled a card out of the deck and placed it in the slot on my sword and my advent beast appeared "Let's go." I said and Percy, Annabeth, my advent beast, and I went to work fighting the mirror monsters. After what seemed like forever there were only ten mirror monsters left "I got this, guys." I said and I pulled out a card that said 'FINAL VENT' and I placed it in the slot on my sword and in no time the last of the mirror monsters were destroyed. "And that's how it's done my friends." I said and when I looked back Percy was already using water to heal his injuries along with Annabeth's injuries "Now how were those things able to get through the barrier?" asked Percy and I told him that mirror monsters walk through mirrors to get anywhere on earth from Ventara. "So Ventara is the world behind every mirror on earth is that right?" asked Annabeth and I nodded my head and then I heard the sound of another battle taking place in the camp "Stay here you two I'll go take care of these guys." I said then I pulled out another card from my advent deck then my sword transformed and I placed the new card into the new slot and I was transformed again into my Survive Mode Werewolf Knight Kamen Rider form "Let's ride." I said then I went through a mirror and appeared behind Leo and Calypso "Seriously you two make a good couple." I said then Leo turned and blasted me with fire which didn't hurt me at all. "Sorry CJ. Cool armor man. And where the heck are these things coming from?" he asked and I quickly told him that they were being attacked by mirror monsters "Get down!" I said and I drew my sword and I sliced ten mirror monsters at once and I drew a card from my advent deck and placed it into the slot on my sword and closed it and my advent beast appeared and transformed into its Survive Mode advent beast form and it took care of the remaining mirror monsters and went back to its resting place. "That's all of them." I said and I turned back into my normal form and helped clean up the camp and I went to the lake to think when Max and Jamie came by and were having a great time together. "Man I can't believe how much things have changed in my life." Max said and Jamie agreed with him when they saw me they thought about walking somewhere else when I fell into the water and Jamie went in to save me and before she found me I was already surrounded by my energy field and when I saw her I said "What are you doing Jamie?" and she looked confused then I willed my energy field to take us to the surface and went back to the dock where Max was waiting "How are you not drowning CJ?" he asked then I told him about my power rings and that I can go anywhere while surrounded by my energy field. "So what you're saying is that those rings create a barrier around you that allows you to maintain a supply of air. Is that it?" asked Max and I nodded my head in affirmation to his question then the water started to boil then one of my enemies appeared out of the water "There you are Flash. It's about time we finished what we started." said the hot headed maniac who came flying at me but I teleported myself, Max, and Jamie to the Big House and then Percy and Annabeth showed up and they were not very happy "What the heck is going on CJ? How are all of your enemies finding our camp?" Annabeth asked and I told her that I didn't know then the Big House shook violently and luckily the magical aura surrounding the Big House kept it intact. "Dragon Flame is one of my most powerful enemies that I had ever faced when I just started out as a superhero. There's only one way to beat him. I have to use my subzero ice powers to fight him. And with your help we might defeat him." I said then everyone nodded in agreement except for Max who was shaking terribly then Jamie went over to him and talked to him "Jamie you stay here with Max keep him from freaking out too badly alright." I said and Jamie said okay in return then she took Max to a safe room in the Big House. "FLASH! COME ON OUT! OR I'LL BURN THIS ENTIRE CAMP TO THE GROUND!" yelled Dragon Flame then I appeared behind him from a mirror and blasted him with subzero ice beams from my hands then he started to freeze until he turned up the heat literally then I knew that I had to go beyond subzero to freeze him over "You want me Dragon Flame! Here I am!" I said then Dragon Flame came right at me but I phased right through him and left a chilling sensation in him "H... H... How did you do that?" asked Dragon Flame. I didn't tell him because I just took out a device that I haven't used in a long time "All right it's hero time." I said then I placed the device on my wrist and opened it and a holographic selection of creatures appeared and I choose my best form "HUMANGASOUAR!" I roared and I grew into an alien dinosaur and I slammed my fist into Dragon Flame and he went flying to the lake then I pressed the symbol on my chest and I transformed into another alien "HEATBLAST!" I yelled and I flew to the lake and continued to battle Dragon Flame then when he was just about ready to get knocked out I changed into another alien "BIG CHILL!" I said and I froze Dragon Flame in his place and changed back to normal. When I looked at my friends they were shocked and I knew that I was going to have to tell them about my device that allowed me to transform into different creatures but for now I needed to get Dragon Flame back to my earth. "Look I know you guys have questions for me but right now I need to take Dragon Flame back to my earth alright." I said and they didn't argue with me so I picked Dragon Flame up and I ran to the lake and opened up the breach and went back to my earth and placed Dragon Flame in a cell and went back to the other earth. Once I was back at my cabin my friends were waiting for me so I told them the story about my device "This is called the Omnitrix it allows me to become any alien transformations that I dial up..." I continued my story up until I ended the story with me stop using the Omnitrix.
