Chapter III A new cabin

After all that happened today I was glad when it was getting close to dark outside and that meant everyone will be going to sleep soon if not sooner. As I worked on my bike in the Pegasi stable in the Argo II I heard a knock at the gate that went into the glass bottom part of the Argo II and I saw Annabeth with some blankets and Percy was with her as well they were talking about something so I used my heightened hearing to listen in on them Percy said "Are you sure you're going to be ok with what you and the others saw CJ turn into Annabeth?" and Annabeth was still a little shaken from when I turned into my ultimate form which is really hard to control unless I have a certain thing in mind to help me guide it. "Yeah I think so. But why didn't he tell us he could turn into that thing?" Annabeth replied and immediately I felt angry with myself for showing my new friends my monstrous side, and when I say monstrous I really mean it. Just when I was about to close the gate to the stable I was in one of my tools fell to the ground and it made a loud clanging sound which scared both Percy and Annabeth. "Sorry about that." I said "One of my tools just fell." I explained then when I tried to meet their eyes I stopped myself and I said "Look if you guys don't think it's best to have me on this ship after seeing my monstrous form I understand." But that was when Annabeth and Percy realized that I was listening to their conversation and Annabeth was about to say something when a tiny poisonous spider landed right behind her and Percy and a few of its brothers and sisters were rushing towards them so I changed into my Angle Rider form and phased right through Percy and Annabeth while protecting them from the army of poisonous spiders. "S... S... SPIDERS!" screamed Annabeth that was when I realized and remembered that all the children of Athena had arachnophobia because of the story of Arachne the very first spider in ancient Greece. "I got this go." I said then I opened my mouth and spewed fire at the army of spiders and they all got fried "Annabeth come on!" yelled Percy then when they were gone I went supernova and made sure that nothing but the spiders were killed. Then when I changed back to normal and saw that nothing remained of the spiders I ran to the upper levels to see if there were anymore that needed to be barbequed into nothingness. "Hey what was that light down there CJ?" asked Percy so I told him that I went supernova and in the case of being in my Angle Rider form it was a lot more dangerous to demons and monsters who do wrong deeds and have sinned too much. "Is Annabeth going to be alright Percy? What with her arachnophobia and all?" I asked and Percy said "She'll be fine. She just needs to try to get ahold of her fear of spiders." That was when I had the idea of using my telepathy to help Annabeth with her fear "Percy I can help her so that way when she sees a spider she won't be afraid of it anymore." I said and Percy had a bright thought about how that would really help. I knocked on Annabeth's door and she said "Come in." so I went in and I told her that I might be able to help her with her fear of spiders "R... really. How?" she asked and I told her that I had to go into her mind and make it so that wouldn't be afraid of them anymore. After that she agreed but on the condition that Percy went too "Sure thing." I said and I asked Percy to come inside and told him that she was willing to have me go inside her mind and make it so that she wouldn't be afraid of spiders anymore and on the condition that he came along. "Sure Annabeth." Percy said then he sat down next to Annabeth while I concentrated all my power to use my telepathy. Once I entered Annabeth's mind with Percy and with Annabeth guiding the way to her fear center Percy saw all the memories of him and her together over the years and saw parts of her childhood as well before they ever met "Hey Percy don't get distracted with the memories." I said and Percy nodded his head and when Annabeth stopped in front of a door that was chained up and padlocked I used my power to open the door and entered the fear section of Annabeth's mind with Percy and Annabeth. "Alright you two just remember these are only fears in the mind so nothing will happen to us as long as we stay on task and cure Annabeth of the fear of spiders." I said that was when I stepped in some sticky webbing and saw all of the spiders that Annabeth has seen or imagined over the years. I changed into my Angle Rider form and set the spiders ablaze and in seconds they were gone and in the fear traps that I brought to capture the evil little bugs then I returned our minds back into our physical bodies and when I held out a rubber spider Annabeth didn't even scream she just laughed and that proved that my job had worked "Thank you CJ." Annabeth said and I told her it was no problem and that I was happy to help her out. Then I went back to the stables and I lay down on the make-shift bed that I made and pulled out my blanket from my biker bag and closed my eyes and slept without any nightmares or freaky visions at all. The next morning I felt that the Argo II had landed in the lake at Camp Half-Blood so I packed up my stuff and took my bike up the ramp that Leo had made so that way I could get my bike out of the Pegasi stables from the bottom of the ship then when I got to the main deck I saw that Jason and Piper were talking with their friends about why my girlfriend wasn't where I thought she was, then when Percy cleared his throat and everyone saw me and realized that I was still upset about my missing girlfriend. So after I got my bike off the Argo II and went to the barrier of the camp to find a place to live for the time being but before I could even get to the hill a couple of demigods along with Percy, Annabeth, and their friends stopped me before I could leave "Come on guys get out of the way please I just need some time to myself for a while." I said but then before I knew it Chiron came up and said "That's why we stopped you CJ. We've taken care of it." When he explained that while I was with the others the Hephaestus cabin built me a cabin not too far from the camp but still within the protective barrier. "Okay. So where exactly is it?" I asked then Leo took me to a part of the camp where there was only a view of the lake and the other cabins. But when I saw it my heart felt like it stopped for a second or two then continued beating "This is amazing. Your friends even added my Lightning Bolt symbol from my suit on the door and no way is that a training field with mechanized dummies." I said in amazement and Leo was surprised that I knew so much about machines. "Yeah man my brothers and sisters helped output this beauty together. And I got to say even I'm impressed with the craftsmanship." Leo said and when I opened the door to my cabin I saw that it looked just like my old place back on my earth where I lived with Katelyn. The thought of my girlfriend always made me calm and happy but right now the thought of her only brought sadness and anger to my soul. "Thanks Leo. And tell your brothers and sisters thanks as well. And if you don't mind I would like to be alone for now while I unpack my biker bag." I said and Leo nodded his head and left. Once I brought my bags in the cabin I started putting my stuff away and when I pulled out a framed picture of me and Katelyn I set it down on the table next to the bed and after I finished I went to try out the training field. Needless to say Leo's brothers and sisters made really strong mechanized training dummies I also added a few upgrades of my own. Then I thought that I would share some of my ideas with the Hephaestus kids and see what kind of improvements they could suggest for my ideas. After I trained for what seemed like three hours a satyr came by and when I saw him I knew that it was Percy's best friend Grover Underwood "Hey." I said and Grover said hi in return. "What are you doing here Grover?" I asked and he told me that they were about to have some lunch and that Percy and his friends wanted to know if I would be joining them "I'll be there soon I just need to get cleaned up first." I told him and after he left I took a quick shower and I have to say the water felt like it was healing me in ways I can't even describe. Once I got to the dining pavilion I saw that the demigods were giving half of their food to their godly parent as an offering which seemed like a waste of perfectly good food to me at first but Percy explained to me that their godly parent's liked the smell of the burnt offerings which still doesn't make any sense to me but I didn't want to offend anyone which meant trying not to offend their godly parents either without giving a burnt offering to them so they wouldn't get angry as Percy told me that happened about thirty years ago when the campers then forgot to offer half of their meals to their godly parents. So I got my food and put half of it into the bonfire which amazingly smelled really sweet after that I went back to the bench where I've been eating my meals ever since I got to this earth. Then in the shadows of the Ares and Apollo cabins I thought I saw a figure that looked like an old man in a toga and he was staring at me with his dark green eyes which gave me the creeps but when I closed my eyes and opened them again the old man in the toga was gone at first I thought I just imagined the guy but it felt like that old man was really there which I couldn't understand how an old man would get passed the barrier. I put those thoughts aside and ate my lunch then a red streak rushed past me and after I got knocked back I saw a girl with red wings coming out of her arms then a Cyclops came over and by the look of him he was a camper too which was kind of weird since he didn't even notice me until I got up in a quick motion of speed. "Sorry. Ella was just excited to meet a new camper. My name's Tyson." the Cyclops introduced himself and the red-winged girl nicely and I said "Nice to meet you, Tyson. My name's CJ. But most people call me the Flash." That was where I lost him and the red-winged girl. Then Percy came over and said "Tyson hey pal it's been a while and hi Ella it's great to see you guys." and Tyson got all teary-eyed and hugged Percy and said, "My big brother I missed you." That was when I got lost Percy has a Cyclops for a brother at first I thought they were messing with me but when I saw Percy getting embraced I realized that it was true. "Ella likes this new guy. Yep, yep." Ella said which to me was kind of weird how she talked in third person but I let that slide. Then my head started hurting again and when I opened my eyes golden rays came out and I spoke in a voice that wasn't my own "Seek vengeance on those who took your loved ones from you, and take their bodies to the deepest parts of Tarturus." Then I collapsed and when I came too Percy, Tyson, and Ella were freaked out again then I remembered what the voice said and it feels like whoever is talking through me is trying to help me find Katelyn. "Ella doesn't like that voice. Nope, nope." Ella said and I realized that I must have scared her or whoever or whatever took control of me scared her I had no idea. After talking to Chiron about all the sentences that keep coming from the voice of something who knew the story that my father had told me before I left my old home village to live in the city back on my earth. "And you don't know who or what is speaking through you CJ?" asked Chiron and I told him in response "No I don't. But the voice sounded familiar to me for some reason as if that voice was a part of my life before. And it sounds a lot like my mom's voice but my mom was killed back on my earth by my twisted brother Victor." After I said that I smelled something that wasn't part of the camp at all. "Chiron there's something wrong. I smell something evil and it's headed this way like it's tracking me or someone else." I said then Chiron told Percy to get the campers ready for an upcoming battle. And before he could talk to me again I was already gone. I teleported to my cabin and put on my suit and grabbed my sword as well and ran to the hill where the thing is going to. Once I got there I saw what was coming it was an army of Minotaur's and angry Hellhounds as well. Then when the campers got to the hill they were shocked to see so many monsters heading towards their camp but luckily the magic barrier kept the monsters out of the property line but if anyone left the protective barrier that person would be a goner. But lucky for my new friends they had me since I couldn't die at all and I can heal quickly as well. "Hey Percy you and the others stay here I'll take care of this." I said and Percy nodded his head then I closed my eyes and everyone saw me turn into the Werewolf Angle Rider and I stepped out of the protective barrier and started killing the monsters immediately and with each one I killed I just got faster and faster. Then I was surrounded by a red aura and my anger boiled and my hatred all came out as I thought about my missing girlfriend and the campers saw a true monster that was saving their camp and even Tyson was a little scared but I didn't care I wanted to kill these evil demons and send them to Tartarus where they'll have to stay for a long time until they could reform and come back again. "I won't lose another friend to the likes of demons and vile beast ever again. NOT AS LONG AS I LIVE! I WON'T LET YOU DEMONS BEAT ME!" I yelled in pure rage and when the last monster was killed I crossed my arms together and threw them up into the air and with all my hatred and rage I let out a monstrous roar "ROOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAR!" then when I was all out of anger I changed back to normal completely exhausted and my eyes started to water and when my friends got to me I was crying and I was still surrounded by the red fiery aura which was starting to disappeared now "CJ are you going to be alright?" asked Percy then before I could answer I fell forward and I was out cold. "CJ! Tyson get the stretcher hurry." Percy said then they took me to my cabin while I was unconscious.
