"Casey . Wake up ." Someone shook Casey awake . He rolled over on his bed and looked straight into a flashlight , nearly blinding himself . "C'mon , we'll be late ." When the flashlight was moved from his face , his eyes adjusted to see Chas standing there . He hopped out of bed and put a sweatshirt on , following Jonah and Chas out the door and to the beach . The girls stood there , staring at the sun rise over the horizon .
"Damn ."
"Yea ," Anna Blake chuckled , keeping her eyes on the sunrise .
"One more thing to check off the bucket list ," Roni said , taking a picture .
"Oh , we're just beginning ," Blaine commented , chuckling . When the sunrise finished , he guided the group back to his house in which a small snack was provided . Casey found himself unable to stop eating the slices of fresh pineapple . "Alright , go get dressed and meet me in the driveway in a little bit ," Blaine said , pulling a shirt over his head .
Casey walked with the group walked back to the beach house and put on a white cap , a slong sleeve shirt and a pair of swim trunks . He put on a pair of sunglasses and grabbed his backpack , following Chastain and Jonah to the driveway . A pickup truck sat there , Blaine sitting in the driver's seat . When the girls arrived , Roni held her phone up and recorded a video .
"Hello . It's Hawaii vlog #1 . Hope you enjoy ." She then went on to introduce everyone and hopped onto the bed of the truck with everyone else . Blaine played Bebe Rexha's 'Meant To Be' as the truck flew down the road . The cool breeze blew through the air , sending the smell of the ocean . The truck then turned onto a dirt road surrounded by a forest . The group sang the words of the song together , even Chas joining in . A couple minutes down the dirt road , a turn was made by the truck and the forest began to thin , revealing a lake surrounded by the same forest . A small waterfall came off of a slope and crashed into the lake , sending foam flying into the air . Several 'ooo's and 'aaa's came from both the bed and front seat of the truck .
"Wowie ," Casey said under his breath as the truck came to a stop on a grass patch .
"Indeed ," Caroline said , hopping out . Casey sat there for a moment before being shaken back to reality by Jonah . He stepped out of the truck and chuckled , peering up at the waterfall and tightening the straps of his backpack . Chas was determined to get to the top , saying so before he began walking towards it .
"You comin or what , Starrboy ," Chas said , turning around and walking backwards .
"Tell my family I love them ," Casey said quietly to Anna Blake as he jogged up to Chas . The two found a rocky surface and decided it would definitely be a good idea to try and climb to the top . Chas took off his cap , running his hand through his hair as he thought about climbing it . Casey had already begun climbing it , testing to see if certain rocks could hold his weight before hoisting himself up .
"You comin or what , Pearson ?" Casey said down to him . Chas chuckled and nodded , putting his cap on and beginning the climb . After a few near-death encounters caused by mossy rocks and a streak of water trickling down the rocks , they had finally reached the top . Casey dusted his hands on his pants and walked up to Chas who peered down at the lake below them . "We're really far up ," Casey said under his breath , eyes wide at the view .
"Mhmm ," Chas said . He took his backpack off , taking a gopro and a speaker out of it . After playing Drake's 'Nice For What' , he turned on his gopro , recording . "Hawaii : giant falls jump with Casey ." Casey waved to the gopro and set his backpack down too , taking his shirt and shoes off .
"Chas ," he said , zipping up his backpack .
"Hmm ?"
"We didn't think something through ."
