Chapter 41: Interrupted

Glitch's Pov
I got something to do so I'll meet you downstairs.

She looked at me puzzled, but then nodded and went downstairs.

As soon as she left and I turned around, I saw a man by the little boy, the same man as before

I go downstairs to see Mo, I nodded my head and he already knew what was going down

I go next door by where the little boy is.

"Ey wat chu doing to the Lil man" I saw while coming closer to the little boy and the big man. I mean this guy is like 6'5, buff and is packing serios muscles.

"Mind ya own business before ya get hurt puny boy" he says with a grunt.

"Hurt me wit what? Cha breath? It's workin" I reply with my smart mouth.

He held me by my collar and lifted me up, I was utterly helplessly. Which meant it was time to put the plan in action.

I smirk, he looks at me confused. I head butt him, which made him loosen his grip on me.

"NOW!" I shout as Mo jumped out of the bushes and locked him in a full Nelson.

However, he was really strong and got out of the full Nelson, then turned around and looked at Mo. I picked up a huge rock nearby.

As soon as he was about to touch Mo I threw it at his head causing him to black out.

"Damn lil man!" Mo says while getting up and dusting himself off.

The police care soon after and the guy was to be hospitalized but questioned once he gain consciousness.

We went back over to Taye's house and I asked lil T where Alana was.

Alana's POV

As I sat by the bench playing with my fingers and processed everything that happened, I felt hands around my waist.

I reflexively break away and sweep kick the person. But they jumped over my foot.

"Nice to see you too" Glitch says with a small smile.

"I'm sor-" i begin to say before being hugged randomly

"No...Im sorry" he whispers.

"It wasn't your fault" I say

"But I should've been there to protect you."

"You can't protect me in every situation." I say sternly.

"But I can try. I try because I want you to be safe." He says then tilts my head upwards towards him

"I almost lost you tonight...I wouldn't know what to do without you." he says looking me in my eye.

His green eyes piercing my heart as I could see he really cares about me.

I cup his cheeks and say "You're gunna go crazy tryna protect both of us."

"I guess you'll have to put me in a straight jacket then." he says with a smirk. He kissed me on my forehead and said "As long as I'm here, I'll try my best to keep you safe."

I blushed as my heart fluttered. I tip toed and kissed him on his cheek. It caught him a little off-guard.

"The Lord has blessed me with the bestest best Friend ever" I said softly.

He blushed and looked away with a dampened smile.

I giggled and hugged him again.

"It's once I never lose you that matters." I mumble and look at our now intertwined fingers.
