Glitch Out

Chapter 14: Ice Cold

Alana's Pov
I look up at Glitch

(keep in mind I'm 5 ft 2 he's 5 ft 4)

"Thanks...I whisper"

"Anytime" he says

We then broke the hug and went over to the bench we met on.

Glitch's Pov
"So you wanna explain why you ran away?" I asked quietly

"No one ever comes to see me do anything....I doubt they even know I can dance." She says with out making eye contact with me.

It's kind of true...her parents don't come to her performances.

"On top of that school is living hell...I can't anymore" she continued

She did go into a new school so I have no clue what goes on.

She lays her head in my lap so I started to stroke her hair with my hand.

"I just can't sometimes...if you know what I mean." She says

I feel really bad now cuz I wasn't there.

Alana's Pov
I wanna cry again but I can't i don't even know at this point.

"You wanna go home now?" Glitch asked.

Might as well.

We get up and start walking back home
But really slow.

While walking down the street I looked down the whole time.

I'm just...depressed.

I feel something around me I look around and see Glitch's hand over my shoulder...

When we got by the front of my house I was a little hesitant to go in...
Glitch gave me a reassuring look and rang the door bell

Glitch's mom opened

"OH THANK JESUS!" She said and hugged me

"No love now huh?" Glitch says.

"Nope" both me and Glitch's mom say at the same time.

He gasp and pretend to be hurt.

"Come here ya big baby" I say to him and hug him.

I then look up to him with a huge smile on my face.

I then go to the living room to see my mom sobbing.

Here goes nothing...

"Hi mummy" I say and tap her on the shoulder.

She turns her head slowly then pulls me into such a tight hug I can't breathe

"O MY GOSH MY SWEET LITTLE BABY IS HOME!ithoughtiwasnevergoingtoseeyouagainand-" I cut off her endless rambling

"Can't.............BREATHE!"

I say breathlessly as she let go
