Jace's POV:
Crackles are summoned from the balls of orange and heat on the red, cracked, yet soft, stone. I look around and all I see are balls of orange, pools of heat, and surrounded of soft rock. I was... scared? Was that the right emotion?
The air was humid from heat as this weird rock solid stone acted as the sun. Strange, is this what the sun's made from?
I looked around and it was bare for miles. I was alone. A cry. I heard a cry before I turned around, and saw this black ball of concrete aimed towards me. It had the orange ball on it while speckled orange gems in it and- it almost hit me before I woke up in a small cottage with a gasp and cold sweat.
I looked outside the window but I didn't see home. I was still in the Overworld. I looked over at Father who was looking at me, almost scared me because I forgot he had his contacts in. But you don't sleep while wearing contacts so he never planned to sleep.
Herobrine's POV:
Near nightfall I realized our portal disappeared. One of those Enderman probably took a portal frame, trapping us here...
"Jace, I need your help making shelter." No response.
Jace is too exhausted to pay attention... correction, I look over my shoulder to her and she's already curled into a ball asleep in a pile of leaves. I sigh as I start spawning in the supplies and making our home. I abused my flight a bit to make the house but it doesn't matter if no one's around to be hurt from it. Right?
I eventually got everything situated in our temporary home and I got her into bed, then I got into bed myself. But I never took my contacts out because I wouldn't have been able to sleep anyways.
After a few minutes Jace woke up from her nightmare. But I can't help with that much. She looked outside then at me for a few seconds and looked down to her sheets.
"What's wrong?" I asked her. She looked back up at me at the brink of tears so I teleported, sitting down next to her and held her chin to have her look at me. I repeat myself, more concerned, "What's wrong?"
"It was..." her voice fades off as tears start to fall from her eyes. I let go of her chins and wipe away her tears as she begins describing to me what happened in her dream. But how could she know about the Nether? She looked outside the window into the night sky, seeming in awe and forgetting completely about the dream.
"It's kind of like home..." Jace said, as a small grin spread across her face.
"It might be our new one." I said to her as she looked back at me.
"Why's that?" Her wonder sparkled in the vast sea as I looked into her eyes. I never noticed her innocence before...
"Because... I can't find a way to return back home..." I looked away, not able to bear her disappointed look I knew she now had. But it was true. If I can't find a way to return home, we simply have to make this Home.
I looked back at her as she was looking back outside. Something seemed to have caught her eye though outside, and I couldn't see well but I could have swore I saw Steven...
Steve's POV:
I have to clear my head. At least camp out to escape all these dogs. The more I thought about it, the more it sounded like identity theft. And there's only one person who could pull that off so well when it came to my identity. I got out of bed as I looked over at Gabby and Alex, sleeping peacefully. I tried not to think about Jace too much as I got my helmet and snuck outside. The cave. That's where I'll go, I thought to myself. I started walking outside for a couple meters when I saw this random house in the distance. Just in the plains. It was beautiful and maybe just my future home if it's abandoned. At least a vacation home. I kept my distance from the house as I walked to look into the windows for any people or lights. I just saw a ball of red in one of the windows, squinting to get a better view it looked a little bit like a person. I walked closer to the mysterious house to clear my vision and I was standing next to her, shock growing on my face. This must be some really good mirror right? A trick mirror? I walked closer then I should have as the girl's face grew more and more confused. And I realized too late what this really was. The mirrored figure broke of reflection plan and teleported away. Where? I didn't know. I got up close to the window, hopefully enough to hear me,
