Dominic watches as Barry exits in what has got to be the most ridiculous outfit he's ever seen. The guy had on a red leotard type outfit, ones typically seen on high school wrestlers and was wearing a dorky helmet with even dorkier looking goggles. Dominic snorts, covering his laughter by clearing his throat."How's it fit?" Cisco asks Barry, walking up to him.
"It's a little snug." Barry replies, pulling awkwardly at the skin tight suit. It was about an hour after Dominic told the scientists of his problem and it turned out, Barry was having the same problem. Finding out he has powers, not that he can turn into a mermaid. It'd be weird if they had the same powers.
"I don't have to wear that crap, right?" Dominic asks Dr. Wells, stepping closer to the man in the wheelchair. No, he doesn't trust him but he needed his... assistance... with figuring out what the hell was going on with him.
"No. That "crap" is specifically for Barry, to see to what extent his powers are." Dr. Wells replies.
"I can make you a suit if you'd like?" Cisco offers and Dominic glares at him.
"I don't do tights." The redhead growls and Cisco raises his hands in surrender, backing away from the intimidating young man.
"Alright, no tights. Got it." Cisco concedes. Dominic grunts his acknowledgement before Cisco walks over to Barry, quickly leaving the conversation with Dominic.
"You're not very social, are you?" Dr. Wells asks teasingly and Dominic huffs.
"I don't like people." Dominic growls. Dr. Wells chuckles but doesn't say anything else.
"Dr. Wells will be monitoring your energy output, and Caitlin, your vitals." Cisco informs Barry, trying to ignore Dominic's coldness.
"What do you do?" Barry asks and Cisco scoffs.
"I make the toys, my man. Check it." Cisco replies cockily before going on to brag about the device he made. "This is a two-way headset with a camera I modified. Typically designed to combat battlefield impulse noise, or in your case, potential sonic booms, which would be awesome." Cisco comments giddily before stepping away to let Dr. Snow look Barry over and make sure his vitals are okay. Dominic lowers himself and leans on the arm of Dr. Wells' wheelchair as he gets close to the man.
"Is he always this annoying and loud?" Dominic asks Dr. Wells, his brown eyes watching Caitlin speak to Barry.
"What?" Caitlin asks when she notices Barry staring at her and Dominic narrows his brown eyes.
"What do you mean?" Dr. Wells asks and Dominic gives him an exasperated look before focusing back on Caitlin.
"Come on, couldn't you hear him? He talked nonstop!" Dominic retorts and Dr. Wells furrows his brows.
"-on't smile too much." Dominic picks up on Barry's and Dr. Snow's conversation again and snaps his head up to focus on it.
"I hear bits and pieces... you can hear his whole conversation?" Dr. Wells asks and Dominic nods, holding up a hand to silence Dr. Wells.
"My once promising career in bioengineering is over, my boss is in a wheelchair for life, the explosion that put you in a coma?" Dr Snow starts to explain before continuing, "Also killed my fiance. So this blank expression kind of feels like the way to go."
'Huh. So that's why she smells like rain-wait? Why does it matter what she smells like?' Dominic thinks to himself in confusion.
