Ciela and I pressed on through the next now unlocked door. There was two of the blue goblin-like things here. I bring out my sword and raise my shield.
"Hey!" I yell so they'll notice me. They both turn. The closest one obviously gets to me first. I swing left, cutting the guy's stomach halfway open. The second one bounces around him and jump attacks me. I fall to the left so I don't get sliced down the middle. I stay on the ground where I impale him as soon as he runs after me. To rid the blade of his body's kicked him off over the edge of the path. The first goblin was still alive, but I could tell he didn't want to be. I felt bad for the guy. His stomach was dripping dark blue blood all over the path underneath him.
With a slight hesitation I squat down beside him, "Look..." I cleared my throat. "I'm sorry..." this guy probably has a family: a family that he has to provide for. A family that loved him... and I just took that away from them.
I look down at his blood again. Now he's trying to hold his stomach closed. I told myself this had to happen. With all the regret in the world, I put my babe on his shoulder and push him off the trail.
Unlike everyone else, he didn't scream... I walked out of the room. I left his sword sticking straight out of the ground in the puddle of blood...
