Dark brought up his shield and pushed it towards me. It bangs against my own. The force was so strong I stumbled back. Dark threw down his blade. It would have hit me if I didn't roll out of the way. He grabs his sword as I stand. We face each other. Slowly, we walked around in a circle waiting for the other to attack.
"Don't let him psyche you out." Ciela whispered. I nodded but was still terrified. This guy was going to kill me.
Dark showed me he got tired of waiting by charging in my direction. He raises his sword above his head. To block this attack I do the same. Our blades meet, making a clashing sound. He pulls back his black, but tries the same attack again. Instead of blocking it again, I dodge by going left and stab his side. He yelps in pain. I step back worried. Was this the end?
Dark laughs and holds his side. He drops his shield.
"Good hit, Link!" Ciela whispered.
"Thanks--"
Dark Link interrupted me, "Yes, good hit, Link." He turns his head to spit out blood. With that being said he disappears. I look around, frantically for him. A second passes...two, three, four, five. He was gone.
"You did it, Link!" Ciela exclaims happily. "Good job!"
I relax, putting away my sword and shield. I let a smile creep onto my face. It faded as soon as he reappeared right in front of me.
His sword enters my stomach. I gasp at the pain. "But I'm afraid it wasn't good enough."
