Malec - the force of ex

Part 1

Magnus and his partner were in the ambulance chatting when the Walky talky went off "call just came in few minutes ago, apartment 17 glossom estate, sending you the sat nav now, : an emergency. Male, 19 years old ,fell down a flight of stairs and knocked into unconsciousness hasn't woken up since, police have attended the scene".

Magnus partner started driving as he picked up and answered "this is doctor bane, we are on our way to the scene now, thanks" he put it down

5 minutes later

Turning round the corner stopping at apartments "right I think it's the bottom second floor, ah there's an officer" they get out grabbing separate bags rushing over to the apartments

The officer opens the door for them as they walk in to find blood leading down the stairs walking up to the stairs by the side close avoiding the blood trail they come to a stop at the top of the stairs. Magnus looks at the man stood kneeling with the young lad's hand in his "ok can you just move please?"

"no" Magnus looks at him "we need to do our job so if you could move" one police officer pulls him up to the side "thank you" he says as he kneels down joining the other paramedic opposite side

Magnus puts two fingers to his neck as he looks at his partner "it's there but we need be quick" the paramedic nods as he takes out a torch from his pocket and leans over "ok what's his name?" he asks "Alec" Alec's boyfriend stutters out

Magnus opens his bag as the paramedic Mike lifts Alec's eyelids slightly as he shines the torch looking "eyes are slightly dilated such as swollen" he says as he moves a finger without touching under Alec's eyelid and touching gently a bruise on Alec's lower cheek while turning to the boyfriend "do you know how he got these?"

The man nods ,Magnus looks at Mike "you go grab the stretcher, can one of you help a second?" He looks to the officer "if you can keep your hands still by his head and make sure you don't move" the officer nods doing so

Magnus looks at Alec's arm as he gently moves it a bit "ok that's defiantly broken" Magnus moves down slightly shifting his legs as he lifts Alec's t shirt ,he looks shocked as he sees few bruises and puts the t shirt back down ,he looks at Alec's legs as he gently touches them moving his hands down

"Did you see how he landed?" Magnus asks as the man nods "ok, well did you see if he went straight into unconsciousness?" A nod again

Magnus partner comes back in as he lays the stretcher on the floor ,Magnus and his partner secure Alec's head into the band as Magnus makes sure the oxygen mask is on fine, he looks at Mike "ok let's move him" the two officers grab their bags for them as Magnus turns to mike and on 3 they lift Alec onto the stretcher

2 minutes later

They move Alec out the stretcher into the bed as the officers drop their bags "maybe you could give this one a lift we don't usually allow.." but he's cut off with a nod as the man walks away with the officers

Magnus puts the seatbelt over Alec just as he hears moaning "ahh.." Alec says in a low voice Magnus looks up at him meeting blue panicking eyes as Alec begins to cry "hey, stay calm. We're paramedics your ok with us" Alec moves his hand down for his t shirt covering his rib side Magnus looks at him and his hand

"Does it hurt there, yeah?" Alec looks at him just as he moves his shaking hand and he moves the t shirt ,then pulls it down pulling a blanket over Alec up to his waist he smiles at Alec reassuring

Magnus moves his hand towards Alec's "I just need to fit this in" Magnus holds a needle out moving towards Alec's hand to take it in his but Alec moves his hand away trying to push him back

Magnus looks at him with confused expression as he moves the needle "ok, I won't" Magnus moves to the window as he pulls it down slightly "can we pull over for a moment please?" mike nods as he pulls up at a drop off point and gets out joining Magnus in the back

"Ok he's woke up and seems to be upset and he also won't let me fit a drip in" Mike nods grabbing his bag off the shelf as he gets out a morphine needle he walks to Alec's side
