2 weeks later on

Magnus and Alec haven't contacted each other they left space for each other as a break but Magnus really felt down today but his thoughts were gone when there was a knock at the door

He just sat down "come in" he said as it was unlocked, walking in Isabelle looked at him "wow you look like shit. anyway there's a party tonight at some person of Jace's friend and I'm inviting you so see you there"

"I haven't said yes and where's Al.." she cuts him off "he'll be there and so will you, what way to bump into him?" She laughs

Magnus arrives at the Lightwoods as Isabelle told him as Jace just pulls up in his car the front door opens and Magnus turns to be faced with Isabelle as she walks down the steps

"Alec's coming now he can't decide on a shirt so I picked one out" she laughs, Magnus follows her to the car as she gets in

Then the door opens as Alec rushes down the steps "sor.." he stops midway looking at Magnus as he goes to reach for the door handle but Magnus pulls it open

Alec just gets in the car silent as Magnus sits beside him, as Magnus is about to put his seatbelt on his hand touches Alec's "sor.." Alec ignores

Izzy and Simon dance as Alec sits with Magnus, Jace and Clary on the outdoor couches. Alec stands up "Uh I'm gonna grab another beer?, does anyone want anything?" Magnus stands as the others nod

"Il come with you" he smiles, alec sighs before Magnus follows him to the bar he catches up with Alec "so how are you?" Alec looks at him after ordering "good"

The rest of the night spent with awkwardness ends with a loud drive in the car back home, Jace pulls up at the house

As they all get out Magnus turns to them "so I best get home" he says sadly but Izzy grabs his arm "no the party hasn't finished yet" she says pulling him in after the others into the house

They sit in the lounge as no one leaves room for Alec and Magnus on purpose so they sit close, Izzy nudges Alec "move down a little"

"I can't..then il be on Magnus lap" he says awkwardly, Magnus sighs as Alec moves up slightly and their legs touch "better now?" Izzy smirks

Jace turns the film on as it starts ,Magnus stares at Alec who stands and walks to the kitchen, he stands near the side grabbing popcorn

Magnus comes beside him "Uh don't mind me, I need th..yeah" he says squeezing behind Alec as he puts a hand lightly to his waist excusing himself

Alec looks at him closing the door before he walks back into the lounge "I might go to bed ,not feeling to good" by time Izzy answered "just a bit longer?" Magnus came out the bathroom

Walking back "aw you ok?, do you want help?" Alec nodded as he walked into his room he looked at the window before a voice spoke "you ok?"

Alec smiles at him as he walks closer "Uh yeah" Magnus walks to him now as they stay silent and Magnus brings his forehead to Alec's breathing his scent

"Magnus I can't" alec goes to turn away when a hand cups his cheek and he closes his eyes resting into it "it's ok" he says before bringing their lips together in a short kiss

Pulling back Alec opens his eyes as Magnus speaks "we do it properly this time" Alec nods as Magnus kisses him again before pulling him into a hug

They lay in bed together as Magnus runs his fingers through Alec's hair with one hand and the other stays holding his hand "I bet the others are thinking why are we so long"

Alec laughs looking up at him from his chest as Magnus brings a hand to Alec's cheek and kisses him on the lips before Alec rolls on to his stomach looking at Magnus now

Alec whispers "maybe we should move?" Magnus moves the pillow down slightly and slides further down the bed with Alec laying between his legs as he wraps his arms around Alec's back

Alec rests his head back down on his chest "Alexander?" Alec brings a hand to Magnus hip "yeah?" Magnus is about to speak when the door opens

He grabs the sheets pulling them higher to Alec's waist as Jace walks in "shi...sorry" Magnus laughs as Alec turns to him "what do you want?" Alec snaps

"Umm we wanted know if you'd like to play a game?" Alec looks at Magnus "yeah but I'm not moving, I'm comfy right now" alec laughs

Jace looks at the others as they come in "ok we will sit on the floor and you can play from there" Izzy giggles, Magnus sits up slowly as Alec moves off him, Magnus takes his hand pulling him back

"Let's play truth or dare" Magnus looks at Clary "yeah ok dear, who's first?" Jace laughs looking at Alec "Alec truth or dare?" Alec gulps

"Dare" Jace laughs "dare you to tongue Magnus" Alec looks at Magnus who's smirking and nods "is that it?, we've done it before so" alec looks at Magnus

He brings a hand to the back of magnus head as he starts kissing him before he slips his tongue in and Magnus tongue meets his and they pull back after a while

Magnus smiles at Alec who blushes "ok that" he smiles.
