Part 28

Magnus and Isabelle sat on the sofa chatting and drinking "Jace said he will come round tommorow or when he can" Magnus smiled at her

"Magnus?.." alec said quietly, no response he grabbed the light off the side banging it against the table side as the door opened and Magnus, Isabelle walked in now

"Hey big brother" she smiled as he smiled back, Magnus walked round to his side as Alec cups his cold cheek "have you been crying?"

Magnus smiles at him lightly as he takes Alec's hand in his "listen, I'm sorry about ear...." Alec cuts him off faking yawning "shut up your boring me, give me a kiss" he waits his lips

As Magnus brings their lips together ,Alec pulls back as he lifts the sheets off him moving the oxygen mask to the side as he sits up slowly with Magnus little help

8pm

Magnus sits with Alec on the sofa as he keeps an arm around Alec's shoulders ,Alec turns Magnus head by his chin as he kisses him until Alec pulls back smiling at him

Magnus looks at him as Alec's phone rings ,Magnus hands it to him on the side "hello?, yeah well why can't you come here?, ok il be there" Magnus looks at him as he puts the phone down

"Jace wants me to go round and see them" he says about to stand until Magnus puts a hand out "I don't think so you need to rest he can come here"

Alec looks at him as he stands "why are you being like this?" Alec asks rubbing his forehead frustrated

Magnus looks taken back "like what?, alec your unwell!, I'm looking after you!" Alec laughs at that "that's the thing, your being too protective and it's making me feel suffocated, this is meant to be home right?"

Magnus nods "yeah of course but please just stay here and rest, I can't let you go out not yet" he says

Alec sits on the edge of the sofa as Magnus stands "maybe we need a break" alec blurts out, then Magnus nods "what?, your leaving me?"

Alec looks at him now "it's just a short break, I can't do this, keep arguing. Il come back and then we can sort thi.." Alec's cut off as Magnus throws the kitchen drawer open throwing everything out dropping it as it clashes

Pushing everything off the side as bottles smash "I loved you, what more did you want?, every time I helped you, I seem to do something wrong!" Magnus says with anger and upset

Alec flinches at the smashing noises and tone of voice "I l..love yo..you.. I just think we need a break" he stutters, standing now "it will do us good, I promise then we will come back from this"

Magnus turns to face him moving his hands with gestures "you think I wanted you hurt? You think I wanted you to cry?" He yells

Alec looks taken back as he flinches and Magnus grabs into a glass bottle on the side "no, please calm down" he steps closer a little "I want to talk, can we?" He puts a hand on Magnus shoulder as Magnus pushes his arm back with force with the bottle about to smash it when Alec lets out a whimper

his arm accidentally colliding with Alec's chest he falls to the floor as Magnus puts the bottle down and turns round to face Alec who's sat on the floor holding his side and covering his face in self defence

"Alex..I'm so sorry..that was an acc..are you ok?, course not" Magnus kneels down to Alec as Alec uses a hand to shift away slowly leaning against the back of the sofa in the corner

"I'm sorry you know I wouldn't hurt you..I guess il leav.." without finishing he stands and walks to the spare room.   Alec moves his hands peeking around when he slowly stands up with no luck he drags himself crawling backwards across the floor slowly

Getting in the bedroom he reaches for the oxygen tank button pressing it as he applies his mask, he takes a deep breath with it on

Then there's a loud knock at the door as Isabelle shouts from the outside "let me in please"
