Chapter 5

Sasha entered the Naiads City Club , the main source of John's investment in the past which continues to charge money deposited into his back account plenteously .She was looking for someone when two girls came to her almost hurrying

every one here knows that Sasha is a special guest ,some one who is close to the owner of this place

"Good morning Sasha ma'am" one of the young luscious girls greeted Sasha who just passed a plain smile in return to the bartender's gesture

" How may we help you? " the other girl questioned

"Where is John ?Didn't he visit the bar today ?" Sasha flared her nostrils ,he hasn't picked up any of her calls for two days and that made her land her at his usual place after checking in at his villa and in his company

" Boss should be here in a few minutes ma'am, have a seat please "

Sasha pulled out a chair and sat behind the drinks counter waiting desperately for John to come

Why did he neglect her calls and messages ?what's keeping him so busy that he doesn't check on her and khushi news anymore ? He still is not sharing his plans of handling the situation with her, which is getting more complicated each passing day.

She scrubbed the wooden slab beneath her hand with two sharp nails , too much put into the maze of endless thoughts. How she wished they could have finished it the way they had planned it but it turned out uglier with the thorn named Khushi Gupta

Sasha gritted her teeth and when the waiter served her favourite vodka she pushed it away furiously ,leaving the glass to shatter into small pieces on the floor .

" I didn't order any fucking drink !!" Sasha screamed loudly venting out her frustration on the waiter and diverting the workers and the few people who went to the club at a very early hour or specifically who never left the place from last night to look at her.. leaving whatever guilty pleasure they were enjoying

a strong hand caught her raged one and forced her to stand straight

It was John with sharp eyes watching her warningly for creating a scene there and the next minute he took her to the second floor a little away from the gossip which filled the air in a span of seconds .

"So Miss Gupta, it was nice interviewing you .you have every single qualification which we are certain would be up to the ideal employee qualities " The interviewing woman smiled genuinely after having spent the last hour with khushi Gupta .She is happy to find what she was looking for in her and got quite impressed with her confident and professional answers

"Thank you Mrs Smith, I'm glad that I met your expectations " khushi smiled back at her

" well ..well it's almost done now ,the last formality is the Boss's signature . once it's done you also will be signing the contract with AR ,I shall be back in few minutes. Please have your coffee Miss Gupta "

Mrs Smith left her seat with the papers and went out of the meetings room leaving khushi who recollected the entire event which is going to change a lot in her life ,she is visualising a new beginning in the form of a job and she promised her self to give her best into it. Having her hands entwined under her chin and elbows resting on the table . The few minutes Mrs Smith would be back within seemed like ages and patience was the last thing she could practice at that moment

she is just one step away..

The killing silence which spread wild in the air was broken with Mrs Smith entry again ,khushi stood up and gazed at the obvious confusion on her face .khushi didn't know what to make out of this sudden change in her interviewer
