Is a vast and lonely desert
Merciless, cold, hot, blinding, dry.
It extends-- miles and miles of dirt
A distance I can’t quite fathom
A place I’m bound to lose my way in.
It’s flat like an endless sea
The ends of which my eyes can’t see
The ends of which my heart can’t reach.
