07/25/2018:

Hello everyone. Hope your Summer is going well. Some of you may know that I haven't been feeling well for the past few months and just had surgery last week so I'm trying to take it easy. Still tired and not feeling 100%. Also being a mom and having to still do mom duties is tiring.

I will try to update again soon. Have a great Summer.

Thanks for Reading, Voting and Commenting. Stay safe everyone! Bye!

Brayden's P.O.V.

It's been a week since Isabel disappeared from our house. We've looked everywhere in the city and outside just in case she did leave for good. No sign and no clues. I had to give it to her. She would make a great fugitive the way she knew how to hide and not leave a trace.

We have people searching for her all over notifying us if they get anything. Right now, Aiden and I were in the office trying our best to focus on work. Work had piled up and we couldn't afford to slack on all the upcoming projects once Spring comes around. One being the Motel Isabel lived in. Demolition was already scheduled in the next few weeks and construction after when it gets warmer. This past snow storm delayed a few projects and our crew is a bit behind.

"Let me know the new schedule. All right. Talk to you later. Bye." Aiden finishes his call with one of our project managers.

"What did Leroy say?"

Glancing up to look at me he says. "Told me that they were approved to go ahead with the demolition as planned. The city is clearing out the excess amount of snow and if there isn't anymore snow storms in the forecast, then we are good to go."

"That's some good news."

"Yeah." he agrees and stays quiet for a while. I knew he was thinking about Isabel, as was I.

"What do you think she is doing right now?"

I shook my head. "I don't know. I wish I did. But whatever she is doing, she is making sure we don't find out. That's for sure."

"Yeah. Remind me that is we do find her, not to ever play hide and go seek with her." chuckling lightly. It was nice to see my brother joke around. He hardly does. Ever since we were little he has been the serious one.

"Haha, don't worry, I won't be playing either. All I know is that wherever she is, I hope she is safe and has enough to eat."

"I hope she isn't in the streets Bray. I will lose it if I find out that she left our home to be in the streets without any shelter. It's still cold and after her being sick before, I'm afraid she might get pneumonia and be in the hospital." hearing the concern in his voice.

I just pictured her passed out somewhere weak or even dead. My stomach knotted even thinking about it.

"I'll check the hospitals again." reassuring him.

Nodding at me, he walked over to his desk and picked up some papers. Without looking my way he says. "Let's get back to work."

I spent a while calling the local hospital and even the police departments to see if anyone with Isabel's description was brought in or if there was a Jane Doe. Something I didn't want to think about.
