Chapter Nine

Gyeongeun POV

l faked laughed "of course his coming he promised right, kyungseok." I looked at kyungseok.

he looked at me confused...I gave him a fake smile "right, kyungseok?" his eyes widen "oh yeah! he did." he looked at Suk ji and smiled "he promised to come with to the festival tonight." he looked at me for help then back to Suk ji.

"but he said he would be a little late cause he had a little more work to do after that he'll go straight to the festival, right big brother." he looked at me again.

I smiled at Suk ji "yeah that's what Jaehyuk said." I let go of his arm and turned to Jaehyun "well since that's settled let's go find Jungwoo." l grinned at Jaehyun as we started to walk towards the dining i stopped and looked back and saw Suk ji just standing there.

l grinned at him "well what are you standing there for if you want to go the village with us we have to go look for the others."

he just scoffed and look at us "ok but it better be fast." he started to walk with us.

~5 Minutes Later~

as we arrived at the dining we saw Jungwoo sneaking around with snacks on hands he looked towards the door and saw us his eyes widen.

he stop walking and put a finger on his lips as a mean of silence, we all looked at Suk ji he looked back at us "what are you guys looking at me for." ....

we all run out of the kitchen and into the garden as we were all panting i looked at Jungwoo "what-- were you thinking getting all that snack you could have gotten into a lot of trouble."

he laughed "l was hungry and maien didn't want to get me any snacks so l took them myself."....

he looked at us confused "wait why were you guys in there anyway??" l chuckled "we were looking for you." he tilted his head " oh really for what?"

we sighed "did you forget the festival's tonight we were looking for you so we can all get ready together." 

"oh ok let's go."....

Myeongseok POV

as I was heading to the servant's chamber's l saw Hyunhye "oh! hyunhye!" she turned to me and made a surprised expression "myeongseok unnie! what are you doing here?, I didn't know you work in the palace now?" I smirked at her.

"I could say the same to you I just started the other day, what about you?" she shyly looked away from me and smiled "I started about three months ago after Yunhwan started working here." my eyes widen.

"have you seen yunhwan anywhere I have to talk to her?" she looked at me with a confused expression and pouted.

"I haven't seen her all day except this morning she said she had something important for the festival,... oh yeah she also said if your looking for her you already know where she would be."

l smiled "now l know where she is do you plan on going to the festival hyunhye." she looked at me shyly again "I was planning on going with maien unnie and yeong suk unnie." 

"well where are they?, we could all just go together." I think they're just getting ready to go to the village."

I looked at the door behind her sliding open I saw maein unnie I smiled at her "maien unnie it's nice to see you again." her eyes widen from shock "oh! myeongseok are you planning on going to the festival too."

"yeah actually I was wondering if you want to go with us to the festival together?"

"yeah sure let's just wait for yeong suk, and who were you planning on going with?" I smirked "lord Gyeongeun and the other prince's and my sister."
