(I'm going to start writing in the third person now. I find my best writing is done when I'm doing it in third person)
The shadowhunters walked into Pandemonium, each armed with their weapon of choice. Clary was leading the group, yet walking apart from all of them. Apparently, some greater demons were lurking around and their hive of business was Pandemonium.
Once inside, they split apart, with parabatai walking together and the others on their own. Clary and Monica were first to find a demon. One of the princes of Hell. Izzy spotted them and called the guys over to join her in backing them up. When they got there, Clary had led the prince out into the alley. Without any warning, the prince leapt at Clary. She neatly side-stepped away from the prince. She then leapt at him, seraph blade in hand, and dug her blade into his skull. Jace stared at her in disbelief. Shadowhunters had since the start of their time tried to defeat the princes of Hell and Clary had easily killed one. How was this possible?
When Clary looked up her eyes looked... odd. She was grinning a manic smile.
"Clary, don't let it take over," said Monica. Clary seemed startled and her eyes turned normal.
"Mon, nothing's going to happen, I'm past it." replied Clary.
"Still..." Monica said. Clary sighed.
"I'm going to get a drink." With that Clary turned, flicked her hair in Jace's face, and walked back into pandemonium.
"What, in the name of The Angel, was that about?" asked Jace.
"When Clary first came to Australia she was weak and now she is strong. Stronger than any other shadowhunter I have ever met--"
"Are you lot coming or not?" Said Clary, popping her head round the door.
