"There you go. No put your finger here.. No not there, here. There that’s better."

Harry was a fast learner. He already had some chords down and was able to strum simply. For about an hours worth of work I'd say he did a great job. I could tell that he was proud of himself too. Every time he strummed and a clear note came out he looked up at me and smiled, showing off his dimples.

We were sitting in his flat on the couch. Niall was out for the night so it was just Harry and I. His flat was nice. Large kitchen with a breakfast bar, two bedrooms and each bedroom had its own bathroom. The living room where we were sitting in was nice and had a welcoming feeling, much like the entire flat. There was a coffee table in front of the couch Harry and I were on and then one armchair on one side of the room, and a love seat on the other side. A baby grand piano was placed in the corner next to a fireplace that was inserted into the wall. It was right under the flat screen television that hung on the wall. I don't know how Harry could afford a place like this and a nice car, he was just a college student. Looking over at that piano I wanted to hear him play so badly, but I knew he would play for me at some point.

"Okay, I think I did enough learning for one night." He held out the guitar for me to take. "I'd rather hear you play." He said as he smiled at me.

I grabbed the guitar and suddenly got nervous. I never played in front of anyone, not in full. I would show the kids at work how to make a chord or strum but I wouldn't actually play anything. I wanted to show Harry the song I had written though and I brought myself to start the intro to the song, closing my eyes and let the music come out.

I remember what you wore on that first day

You came into my life and I thought hey

You know, this could be something

'Cause everything you do and words you say

You know that it all takes my breath away

And now I'm left with nothing

So maybe it's true that I can't live without you

And maybe two is better than one

But there's so much time to figure out the rest of my life

And you've already got me coming undone

And I'm thinking two is better than one

I remember every look upon your face

The way you roll your eyes, the way you taste

You make it hard for breathing

'Cause when I close my eyes and drift away

I think of you and everything's okay

I'm finally now believing

Then maybe it's true that I can't live without you

And maybe two is better than one

But there's so much time to figure out the rest of my life

And you've already got me coming undone

And I'm thinking two is better than one

I remember what you wore on that first day

You came into my life and I thought, hey

Maybe it's true that I can't live without you
