We got to New York City the day after Christmas. We spent our time in the city just walking around, and shopping. We went to see The Script in concert and that was a fantastic show, I never wanted it to end.

It was now New Year's Eve all over again and Harry had something planned for tonight. He had been acting nervous all morning, it was now around 5pm, and we were eating dinner at a steakhouse. We were going to leave for Times Square at 7 because Harry said he had got us these special tickets. I wasn't sure what the tickets were exactly for, but I knew he had a plan and I best not mess with it.

Harry kept looking up at me and when I would return his gaze he quickly looked back down at his food. I looked at him quizzically for a moment before shrugging it off and returning to my food.

Once we were finished and Harry paid the bill we went back to the hotel to quickly change from our day outfits to something nicer to wear for tonight.

Harry was in the shower and I was standing over my dresser contemplating what to wear. I settled for a white button up shirt that had a black collar, maroon pants, black and white vertically striped suspenders, and black dress shoes.

I got dressed and fixed my hair in the mirror going for a side messy look.

Harry had finally come out of the bathroom wearing black jeans, a grey button down, a black sports coat and brown dress shoes.

"You look great babe." I said as I leaned in to peck his lips.

"You look better." He said with a smile on his face.

I rolled my eyes as I reached for my coat and keys, and we made our way out of the hotel and to Times Square.

Harry had gotten us these tickets that allowed us to hang out backstage where are the artists were performing. It was truly incredible, I mean I think there were more celebrities here than in rehab. We just hung backstage talking with people. It was much calmer back here than it was standing in the crowd like last year, but there was still that excitement in the air that you couldn't miss. All the artists sounded incredible and it was awesome to see them this close.

As the night grew on Harry got more and more fidgety. I could tell he was trying to stay calm but not exactly achieving it.

"Hey babe what's wrong? You've been acting weird all night."

"What? No, nothings wrong. I guess I'm just excited for the New Year."

He flashed me a smile and I nodded my head, not believing a word he said.

"What time is it?" He asked me.

"Uh it's 11:40."

He nodded his head and ran his fingers through his hair.

A moment later a man wearing a headset and a VIP badge came up and talked to Harry. I looked over at them in confusion and Harry glanced at me quickly smiling, and then returned to listening to what the guy with the headset was saying. He walked away and Harry let out a deep breath, combing his fingers through his hair as he did so.

"Alright Lou, ready for your surprise?"

"It's about time! I've been dying for a week!"

The same guy with the headset walked back up to Harry holding a guitar. Harry grabbed it and put the strap around him. He was then passed a microphone to put on his ear and it came down near his mouth.

"Harry what's-"

"Mr. Styles to the stage please." The guy with the headset said.

Harry let out a breath and winked at me before walking out onto the stage in front of thousands of people. They began to cheer as he came out and he just waved to them before speaking.
